TheBrownBear Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 My source says Fournette had relocated to Charlotte in the past 10 days in the hope that this call would come. 4 Quote
BeastMaster Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Fournette played admirably behind one of the worst Olines last year in Tampa. They were decimated with injuries, and were just plain bad. He is great catching dump offs, is a willing blocker, and can do some tough running and goal line work. I am shocked he wasn't signed by another team before the season, and I would bet that he will play a significant role here if given the opportunity 4 3 Quote
benderbender Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 You think we waited until the trade deadline to announce a FA signing because there’s no trades? Quote

SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 This feels like a move that people don't think much of at the time but then celebrate when he's converting a crucial 3rd down in a playoff game. 3 4 1 2 Quote
dollars 2 donuts Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 You know who I would have liked? Getting Damien Harris back. I know he wasn't hurt this weekend and I know he wasn't coming back for the Bengals, but my hope was we wouldn't be without him during the entirety of gauntlet stretch coming up. 1 Quote

Iraq Vet Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 I hope he has some nastiness left in the tank. We got no one with serious nastiness on offense since crazy man... Richie Incongito. I don't care if he weighs 300lbs and has just 10 plays on the field all game. Just be nasty. 2 Quote

PBF81 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 (edited) Nearly 29-year old RB whose averaged 4.0 YPA in his career, ... meh. He's got size, might be a Goal Line asset. I'm not quite sure what McBeane have against true 3-down RBs. Having one would certainly add some options on offense. Edited October 30, 2023 by PBF81 Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Guessing this is similar to the Beasley and brown signings last season, vet to the practice squad insurance If he shows well will be signed to the active roster in season after getting the max call ups Kind of just want him for the playoffs Quote
