SoCal Deek Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Makes little difference to me but I’d rather go to Miami in the playoffs than play at KC again…..and I bet the same is true for the entire Bills organization. Quote

Also, an easy way to discern the age of a poster is whether they're rooting against the Chiefs or the Fins next week. It's not foolproof, but I bet most people over 50 (like me) still hate Miami so much that we could never root for them except when their winning would guarantee us a playoff spot or seeding. And even then it would be difficult. Exactly. ALWAYS root against the gonadless sea mammals. Always. 1 1 Quote
zow2 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 I’d prefer Miami to lose and I’m glad the Chiefs are coming in off a lackluster and sloppy loss. KC will be dialed in for this despite Miami getting fortunate and not having to play at Arrowhead. 1 Quote

ANY of us with a ***** Passport, who travel beyond our borders- unlike evidently the entire Buffalo Bills franchise, knows what to do when attempting to negotiate a FIVE HOUR Time Zone shift and the effects on the human body. Whoever made that decision should be sacked immediately! Whoever didn’t overrule him- the same. Not saying your point is wrong but a lot of teams do it that way lol I think the thought is you still won’t be adjusted either way so might as well stick to your preparation/recovery schedule Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Both of these teams can go pound sand !!!! Quote

I think the Bills stand a good chance of stacking wins and keeping even with the Chiefs and Dolphins. It's the Jaguars who have a gave over us AND the head to head Im more concerned with as we need help to get seeded above them. Quote

Nah, I’d rather play in KC than in Miami. we smashed them this season in Buffalo, but that was with Tre-Milano and Daquan. We don’t know if they’ll be back. most importantly is how the Miami offense functions while having the advantage of a quiet stadium. Their motions require great coordination and not being able to hear the snap count (or anything other than the opposing crowd) really dampens their offense. They aren’t as creative nor are they as effective. I believe one of the reasons we won that game was due to our fans being so loud. It was THE reason, not even close…..but it did hamper the Miami O. I believe that Quote
DapperCam Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 If you’re only focused on winning the division, then a Dolphins loss is what you want. If you are holding out hope for the #1 seed, then you want the team to lose that you think will have the better record the rest of the season (in my opinion Chiefs). Quote
Big Turk Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Dolphins are not very good against quality teams who are fundamentally sound. They rely on teams not being in position a lot, which is bad coaching and having undisciplined players on D far too much, IMO. The only potential saving grace for the Fins is overseas travel. It effects everyone differently and there is no way to know how it will effect individual players until you play the game. Quote
Ralonzo Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Gotta get there in October for the real competition Quote

The NFL could have done its two weeks in London experiment in a much more fair way. They could have two division rivals go to London and play back to back games, so that each of the teams lost a home and an away game. And simply evaluated the quality of play for the second week vs the first week (errors, GPS measured speed of players, etc.) to see what the impact of spending more time in the distant London time zone was. By controlling have the same teams in both games, they remove a considerable number of variables, allowing them to measure the impact of the time zone difference potentially more accurately. 2 Quote

Another hot garbage idea. The NFL has found an easy way for me to miss what should be an interesting game. Way to go, Roger. 2 Quote
