Gugny Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 If I’m home and inside, it’s background noise. Today I’ll be cleaning out the garage in preparation for winter, going grocery shopping, cleaning, then cooking dinner. I doubt my TV will even be on before the 4pm games. Quote
WotAGuy Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Yup. Rooting for the Pats, 49ers, Broncos and Giants. But betting on Jets, Bengals, Miami and KC moneyline parlay. Quote

In my opinion the league needs to have an independent commissioner, on the order of Mountain Landis, tasked with ensuring/restoring integrity to the game. 1 Quote
dgrochester55 Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 (edited) I'll likely run Red Zone in the background while I work on other things today. As far as watching a full game, between the announcers, the commercials, 10-20 injuries per game and the refs dictating the pace and sometimes the score of the game, it is very hard for me to do so if it is a non-Bills game. If you watch a full game now, you are likely to see the Verizon annoying guy interrupting a birthday party commercial more times that you will see an exciting play that isn't called back. I liked the NFL much better than the "Roger Goodell's football themed sports entertainment show sponsored by Draftkings" that we have this season. Edited October 29, 2023 by dgrochester55 Quote
EffKCChiefs Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Not really, especially if Kc is on I don’t watch. 1 Quote
julian Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 I’m almost as much a fan of the NFL as I am a fan of the Bills. I can’t get enough. Quote

TheyCallMeAndy Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 I won’t, maybe Gameday Live when I’m folding laundry Quote
Joe Ferguson Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 There is no way I'm watching the Bears tonight Quote
Buffalo Boy Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 I’ll catch some of the Panther/Titans and Bungles/49ers. If the Pats/Fins game is on I’ll watch some of that too. 80 degrees and sunny today so we’ll probably hang out outside and enjoy it too. Quote
Wacka Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 I lived in the SF area for almost 20 years. I'll watch them if they are on in Buffalo. 1 Quote
Jay_Fixit Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Yes but I feel more free to do other things. Quote
BattlinBill Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Nope, take advantage of the break and spend some quality time with the family. I'll keep an eye on the scores throughout the day but going to enjoy this mini-bye and give my blood pressure a chance to come down... Quote
BillsFooteball Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Absolutely all day. NFL is really all I watch. Very little into other sports and shows. I absolutely love days like this. Bills win Thursday and I can sit back stress free watching all games today and tonight rooting for bills interests. Go falcons, saints, patriots 🤮, giants, jags(tough call but jags will win division easily so I’ll take Steeler L), panthers, Seahawks, cardinals, bears, lions, niners andddd broncos!! 1 Quote
Buffalo03 Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Yeah, I'm not a weirdo. These people that say "I went apple picking and spent the day shopping with my wife because the Bills weren't on" are weird. Like, there are 6 other days of the week to do that stuff. You call yourself a football fan? 3 Quote
JerseyBills Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 ya im watching all day/night. I'm heading to my boys. Between fantasy n gambling it's still very entertaining. Obviously the Bills give me way more of an adrenaline rush Quote

I don't understand why "football" fans do this stuff on Sundays just because the Bills aren't on. Anything I need done, I do mostly on Saturdays during football season so that way Sundays I can relax all day and watch football. People that like football but have this "eh, Bills aren't on so I'll clean the garage out" attitude, I don't get Edited October 29, 2023 by Buffalo03 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Two questions: 1. What does one do to a garage to get it ready for winter? 2. What’s winter? Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Watch nearly every game. I watch every prime time game, even the garbage ones. If the Bills aren’t on it’s either prime time game or NFL red zone. Quote
zow2 Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 If not watching closely, you have to flip the games on around 3:30 when they are in the 4th Qtr. Usually there’s 2 or 3 that come down to the last second. As an NFL fan, it’s the best time of the day. My BetMGM account is looking good lately, i’m definitely putting a few small wagers on the games today. Quote
