Riverboat Ritchie Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 Thought he looked real slow and had no power to move tackle but did seem to be looking better as game went on (minus the penalty). I was though asking on if it made sense though to have him in there over epineza or Groot 6 1 1 7 1 Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 It was a win that he was out there late in the 4th. 3 6 2 Quote
mrags Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 At this point. Hes not as good as either Epenesa, Groot, or Floyd. Hell, even Jonathan might be better at this point. But he’s gotta get in there and get reps. I feel like he’s getting closer to getting there. He actually sniffed the QB a few times tonight. 3 12 Quote
Boatdrinks Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 (edited) He looked better than last week , at least to my eye. I still think he’s 3-4 weeks away from contributing at a high level. Should be a factor by the post -Thanksgiving stretch run. Edited October 29, 2023 by Boatdrinks 5 6 1 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 He's really just getting into shape. Obviously not going 100% off the ball. Doing more to set the edge and watch than rush up field at the passer. 4 3 Quote
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 Doesn’t have that bend back yet, but he’ll get there. 3 4 1 1 Quote

Warcodered Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 I think I agree with how the postgame talked about him, he's still working his way back, he'll get his bend back as the season goes on. 3 1 Quote
CincyBillsFan Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 I was mad he didn't complete the sack that would have ended the game but clearly that was a sample of his old self on that play with the twist and explosion to the QB. We should have confidence now that within the next month he may be back to his old self and that would be very welcome. 4 Quote
ALLinALLEN Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 More noticeable today than previous weeks. Still not contributing near a level we need. Hopefully this 10 day rest helps and he’s a bigger factor in cincy. If not I can only hope the team is in a playoff run and he’s full go. Otherwise it’s a waste Quote
Doc Brown Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 Like I told the people who were whining about Kincaid two weeks ago. PATIENCE. Miller will be back to his old self by the playoffs. Getting there is my concern. 2 1 1 1 Quote

Doesn’t mean he won’t get there, but he’s just not there yet. He should still get reps though as we need to get him the opportunity to work all the way back as much as he can. But I think AJE and Groot both should get starter level playing time until he does. 2 1 Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 Von is probably playing at 70% right now. They are bringing him along slowly which is the right move. He’s showed a good burst off the edge tonight. Moving horizontal he’s still a lil hesitant but that’s expected. They don’t need his A game right now. They need him in December/January 2 1 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 He was close to rodeo sacking Baker. Mayfield was annoying all night and got massive luck late on that drive with lame duck throws bouncing twice resulting in 8 points 2 1 Quote
gflande1 Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 I’ll be worried if he’s not contributing after the bye. 1 Quote
Bermuda Triangle Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 He was absolutely mauled on the 2nd to last play from scrimmage. Not sure how that wasn't a hold. 3 1 Quote
