It wasn't like they were trying to rush the FG team on with 8 seconds and no timeouts. They had 20 seconds. If the clock would've kept running, they'd have kicked it because they have nothing to lose at that point. 

 

Once you call the TO, then if you miss it, you're giving the ball to Josh Allen at midfield with about 15 seconds and 2 timeouts. Pretty much automatic points for the Bills at that point.

The gameday thread is all massive overreactions without taking a moment to think about things haha

I can’t tell you why they didn’t go for the FG there. Pretty gutless by Bowles. The guy just hit a 57 yarder. 

 

They scrambled with 15 seconds left. They had plenty of time to get settled down. You let the clock hit 3 and you attempt the kick with no risk.

 

Bills call a TO and the Bucs have that risk. You give the Bills the ball back at midfield. They have 1 play to have a FG attempt and if that fails the Bills still have a Hail Mary attempt.

163 total yards allowed is really good.  If you aren’t happy with the defense’s performance, then you need to adjust your expectations.

Give me a break. The defender was right in front of him. Throw it the other direction, take the sack, or try to evade the rusher. Don't throw it right at him.
