Watch this go through. A coach can't look respectable by wearing a suit on the sidelines, but Jack in the Box will be able to advertise their Big N Beefy Chili Burger on Julius Jones' leg.

Sure. We could become more like Europe where they just name the teams after corporations. The Seattle Seahawks will become the Microsofts, the Mets will become the Chase Manhattans, and the Packers will become the Kraft Velveetas.

No way Tags and the NFL allow this...you get fined like 10 grand for playing with 1 sock falling down, or a jersey not tucked in, or wearing something in tribute to pat tillman and johnny U, so theres no way ads are gonna be allowed on NFL unis...typical jerry jones jackass stuff...

How insulting! Velveeta isn't even close to cheese!

The Milwaukee Brewing Company would fit much better.

While I agree, its kind of different. The NFL doesn't gain revenue from falling socks, untucked jerseys, or messages written in tribute to Tillman. They CAN take a cut from Jones when he gets "Mobile One" painted on an offensive lineman's big rear. (not to mention the irony)

Wow, Velveeta and Mill's Best. There's a lethal combo.

Ahh the genius of Jerry Jones. Hard to imagine how the NFL existed for over 70 years before this bastion of industry decided to join the league and enlighten the unwashed "old school" owners.

Ralph Wilson/Lamar Hunt: AFL; Pete Rozell: Super Bowl; Art Modell: TV contract; Paul Taglibue: Salary Cap/FA: Jerry Jones: Taco Bell patch on jock straps.

This idea is almost as good as Snyder's charging fans to watch training camp.

Where would the NFL be without the new school owners?

I appreciate Jone's entrpeuership and his desire to make money. This is business first and foremost. But the integrity of the league must be preserved. This would damage it. I say no deal.

God I hope this doesn't happen and I don't think it will, but if it did, the players would look like friggin' NASCAR drivers (eventually).

I wanna see how many players want ads on their unis when viagra comes calling...

I guess that's the ad we'll see on the cup, or the ass.

CFL players have ads all over their jerseys & teams have ads all over their fields.

Arena League Players have ad patches on their jerseys.

Won't be long before NFL players look like NASCAR cars with ads all over their uniforms

A Viagra patch on the cup area would be ingenious advertising to say the least.

The may as well replace the names on the back of jerseys with a sponsor like they do in Little League Baseball while they are at it.

Teams can change color schemes to represent sponsors as well. Imagine UPS sponsoring the Cowboys for example. Brown uniforms with yellow stripes, a big UPS logo on the front instead of a number, a brown helmet with a Yellow Star and all the jerseys have UPS on the back instead of the players name. They could put a big brown star in the middle of the field and have "UPS" in the endzones instead of "COWBOYS"

Jerry Jones could have even more face lifts with this idea.

Like kasper said, ads all over players' uniforms is coming down the pike. And the outrage will be there initially, but after awhile it will be just another part of the game that we've gotten used-to. Hey, if it's a way to increase revenue and keep the Bills in Buffalo, I'm ALL for it. And sure the integrity of the game takes a hit to some degree, but when the NFL decides to do it, all the other major sports will follow suit (so to speak), and join NASCAR and the rest of the world (read: soccer).

I just don't get it. Does JJ really need that much more money?
