Bills14221 Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 This needs a bit of context, no? What do the other draft classes ten years later look like? 3 1 Quote
Goin Breakdown Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I wonder what the draft class of 1989 looks like right now. 10 1 Quote

BBFL Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 A lot of decent one year careers out of those names. Couple of solid players for 2/3/4 also. Quote

Low Positive Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Sometimes draft classes suck. But we still compare prospects to each other and have long heated debates. Look at the 2000 NBA draft. Not an All-NBA player among them. Complete garbage. But teams still angles to trade up and overvalued draft picks. Fans still had heated debates. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_NBA_draft Quote

uticaclub Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Some of those guys played at high levels when they were in their prime Quote
Homey D. Clown Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 This somehow makes me feel better about drafting EJ Manuel. I'll taket it... Quote

It was a truly awful draft, but it would be nice to see some additional context- like how many years they all played in the league. Sheldon Richardson was a very good player for like 9 or 10 seasons. Not many make it to an 11th. Quote

ngbills Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 You get 5 years of starting from a draft pick I would say its ok. Most teams are drafting guys and getting a full 15 years of a career like in the old days. Most of the guys in this draft were starters for a number of years. Careers are not lasting 10+ years anymore. Quote
