GreggTX Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 We had already given up on him and look at him now. Former Bill, Zach Moss is 2nd in the NFL in rushing and just behind McCaffrey at #1. Whoda thunk it? Congrats Zach. Looks like you get the last laugh. 6 Quote
BuffaloRebound Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 That was Daboll not having a use for him in the offense. 1 Quote

Unfortunately for him, that won't stay like that too long as his carries will dwindle as Taylor gets up to speed. But good for him, I could see teams calling Colts for trade interest before the deadline now that they extended Taylor. Who knows if Colts would bite though, they might prefer the 1-2 punch now to put less wear on Taylor. 2 Quote

True, but he also was underperforming compared to Devin when here too, so you can't get more touches if you can't unseat the guy ahead of you, not to mention he had some injury issues too. 1 Quote

Freddie's Dead Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Good for Zack Moss, the most recent victim of McDummy's Doghouse (sounds like a Saturday morning kids show). 3 Quote
glazeduck Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 There's absolutely nothing to be learned from this. Zach has played extremely well in Taylor's absence, but: Is only playing BECAUSE of that absence, and he was terrible here. Zach is on another team because he wasn't good enough to stay on our team. This isn't Wyatt Teller 2.0. Quote
Roundybout Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Yet another example of us not using talent correctly. Colts’ OL and scheme is superior. 1 Quote

He's also running behind the o-line that helped block for the league leader in rushing last season. Taylor is good, but he didn't do it by himself Edited October 23, 2023 by Herc11 1 Quote
zow2 Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Zach Moss is now the Wyatt Teller of RB's. Beane can hang that on his resume and speak of it when referring to his miscalculations. Quote

Yes all for never paying RB top dollar and drafting replacements instead. Other than fringe scenario where you are paying rookie QB don't think it is ever worth giving a running back that 2nd contract. Edited October 23, 2023 by billieve420 Quote

BringBackFlutie Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 I really thought this was another Gabe Davis thread. Quote
