Buffalo_Stampede Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Beane wouldn’t trade a 5th round pick for a rental. It’ll ruin our future ability to compete for 3rd place in the AFC. 1 4 1 Quote

It's not a guarantee they win And they have lots of people to pay over the next 2 years which you can't play salary cap Monopoly with They better win it this year because they have an aging o-line and lots of contracts to hand out... They're far from perfect And trading for a safety doesn't win a super bowl Edited October 23, 2023 by Buffalo716 Quote

That was 4 years ago. And it was restructured this offseason. -> The contract is now essentially 2 years, $21.5M. For an All-Pro safety. And Philly only has to pay $16M of that $21.5M. This is a slam dunk awesome deal. . Edited October 23, 2023 by Einstein 3 Quote

Whatever you say Einstein There's not one team that is far and away the best team in the NFL and a 30-year-old safety is not the answer for any team Football is the ultimate team game 1 through 52 Drafting Tom Brady in the 6th round was a genius move... Picking up Kurt Warner as an undrafted free agent was genius This doesn't constitute as a genius move Edited October 23, 2023 by Buffalo716 Quote

The Bills need to trade for a DT in the worst way. DT, LB, OT, and WR. I am struggling with the depth chart on this one. Quote

nedboy7 Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 (edited) Eagles haven't beaten a decent team. I mean they lost to the ***** Jets! They only beat Miami by 2 TDs where as the crappy Bills beat them by 4 TDs. Of course they are trading for players. Just kidding. Just using some good old TBD logic. Oh yeah! And they drafted a S in the 3rd round. Can you not see the dysfunction? Edited October 23, 2023 by nedboy7 1 Quote
ngbills Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 This is not the process. He is not a team guy. They will pay for this later. Those lost draft picks will bite them later. Uhhhhh...what else can I say to excuse our teams unwillingness to do anything. 1 Quote

Unlike Beane who just continue to live off Allen, this guy is not afraid of making trades of substance and is the best in the business . Beane has been pretty much useless and all talk, wants to hang on to picks to give himself a chance to continue drafting busts. Elam/Ford/Basham to name a few BTW Beane could have had WR Brown on this team with the second rounder he used to draft bust Ford. Edited October 23, 2023 by Niagara Dude 1 1 Quote

bouds Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 They can cut Byard in the offseason and not have any issues. Bills can do the same with Poyer if you think about, they'll take dead money but free up a lot more. Quote
