You forgot von Miller who took up the money we could have used on a devante Adam's/aj brown caliber wr opposite Diggs..another blunder by our defense minded hc who is suited for the nfl 20 years ago

What does that have to do with the fact that Von has the leadership and respect of his team mates to call this kind of meeting? Nothing.

He earned the C on his jersey for a reason, and it's not because he cashed his checks, packed it in, and took his time coming back. It's because he worked his tail off to come back from a torn ACL in 10 God damned months! What's wrong with some of you guys?

Imean, I know "fan" is short for "fanatic." But some of you guys air your strange grievances in the most illogical ways.

The von signing is a major blunder whether he worked his ass off to get back or not...horrible signing

If true, hopefully it’s a proactive approach that brings the team together.

You can right this ship just like you did in 2021.

It started with the Bucs in 2021, it can start with them again this year. Go Bills!

Weird... I can't believe these guys are able to keep their players only meeting this confidential... but here we are... 20 hours and ten pages later!

If Von and Josh are really holding a player's only meeting, I assume they feel the main problem is with the players: effort, execution, etc.  It'll be interesting to see if those things get better.

Though clearly the coaching needs to get better, too.  The Bills do not have the best roster in the league, but they do have more talent than their 4-3 record indicates.

Maybe the team is missing Frazier and Daboll more than people expected.

You all are overreacting here. The players seemed a bit more down after this loss than usual. I think it's the combination of the loss and the injuries. This meeting was probably just to get everyone motivated, which is something that Von and Josh need to do as captains.

What time are the Sabres having their players only meeting tomorrow?

They don't need one.  They are transitioning to playing a more team defense oriented game and currently haven't figured out how to do that without greatly reducing their transition and scoring opportunities, but they will.  Defense has looked much better the last 2 games and PK has been great all year. PP is not good right now only converting at 6% but they are getting chances...those will start going in soon.  Team has far too much talent for that to take too long before they figure it out.

And that would be?

The first rule of 'players only' meetings is you do not talk about 'players only' meetings? 🤔

They're an enigma, wrapped in a riddle.  And if leaked about on social media, they probably never happened / never will happen.

Not necessarily the "main" problem. But they recognize they can do better and it is the only thing within their control. They cant fix/change/control the coaches, so they have to tighten up and do what they can as players.

It would certainly help if the players got their ***** together. We'll see how the game plan goes after that...

I like it. Bottom line is they aren't even close to being out of anything at this moment. If the talent on this team is adequate, then we are not done. Need to get the ship right and get after it.

Reports from the players after the meeting. Guess there was some confusion over who was bring what drinks and snacks to Friday off day golf tourney. All cleared up now and they are feeling good and excited for some relaxing time on the links. Just got to get this Thursday thing over with first.

This fanbase has turned into he pats fan base, the Philly fanbase and the cowboys fanbase, and quickly approaching the raiders fanbase.

You mean expecting championships and excellence, instead of being content that the draught is over?

Hope it works, but usually calling a players only meeting is a bad sign lmao

Depends. They called the meeting for obvious reasons but this could be a moment where they turn the table

the coaches can only do so much, the leaders have to step up

Probably wondering how they can dump Dorsey without actually coming out and saying it

It’s not 100% on Dorsey. This is a tired and lazy take. Execution is terrible all over the place. Oline. Dline. QB. Wrs. Lots of blame it’s not one persons fault here.
