Maybe it was $25 😂 And this is the kind of frenzy that place created. I give you 2008's week 3 win over the Raiders:

God, I loved that place.

The NYC backers meet at Penn 6.

The North Jersey Backers meet at the Stone & Rail in Glen Rock. But that may be too far to be an option. It is steps from the train station, if you don’t mind a bit of a ride.

Penn 6 is awesome for game day. Wings are pretty good too.

I'll be at Penn6 tomorrow 👍

It's no McFadden's, but it'll get the job done.

McFadden's used to be incredible... but I would imagine it was a bad deal for the bar. They gradually upped the wrist bands from $20 to $45 all you can drink and all you can eat wings for 4 hours. Man, those were the days. I went almost every Sunday and it was standing room only even during the drought.

Late season, when we were playing for draft position every year you could sometimes get a seat at the bar, but otherwise, packed and rowdy.

turns out I will be in NYC Sunday for Pats game.  Any suggestions on where to watch the game?  I will be midtown east - around East 48th st.

Apparently new bar in Port Chester near train... https://samspcny.com/?fbclid=IwAR2pXLHpAMBK4W0lO_LCH2sx0MziVV7SQ5srufc8d1Qf9eVHcZzkW5Ae4s8_aem_AQA3JpelMERVv6_cOY9-BzymiCnKIF_PbnoOzlKVV82BSUupx5GZoJ2zrgfwhil8LUw&mibextid=Zxz2cZ

That's about how I remember it from my first visit there which I think was in 2011.  The Bills had a great start that season and McFaddens was so crowded that the overflow went into the bar next door.

Is McFadden's still the backers bar?

McFadden's closed a couple years ago, the NYC Bills Backers club now meets at

Penn 6, 132 W 31st St. https://www.nycbbb.com/

NYC Bills Backer is large, pretty well organized group.  They go at it pretty hard on game days.

What is Penn 6 like?

I see they're in Midtown and that they have an oyster bar.

Are they more upscale than the typical sports bar?

Are they pricey by Bflo standards or do they have gameday discounts?

Here's their lunch menu:

https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5b32b64489c172cc79991d5d/t/61eef75a25bc24652ebfb183/1643050842914/Penn6+Lunch+Menu+.pdf

Here's their brunch menu:

There's mention of "spiced wings" and "dry-rubbed spiced wings" but no mention of "Bflo-style chicken wings" and the menu leans more towards raw than deep fried apps.

I see they have fancy cocktails but do they have pitchers?

I'm gonna be in NYC next month so these are important details. Thanks.
