Big Blitz Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 (edited) I have no idea why they are pushing for WWIII. GEICO laying off 2,000 employees nationwide, 5.5% of Buffalo area workforce impacted https://www.wkbw.com/news/local-news/geico-laying-off-2-000-employees-nationwide-5-5-of-buffalo-area-workforce-impacted They’ve (the globalists) have shrunk everything they can as prices continue to skyrocket. You can’t afford anything. You Branch Covidians are the first generation in human history that will NOT leave this world to their kids (they won’t be having any so there’s that) a better place to live in. Nice work all around give yourselves a great big virtual pat on the back. Edited October 19, 2023 by Big Blitz 1

L Ron Burgundy Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Who is more obsessed with covid? The person constantly talking about it or those that moved on? Yes, there's still a real economic impact lingering, it's global. It's not like the current administration is solely responsible like some here think. Economic Armageddon? Might happen yeah. But unlikely. 1

Setting aside for the moment that "the globalists" is a popular white nationalist euphemism for "the Jews," who owns GEICO? Well, that would be Berkshire Hathaway, a/k/a Warren Buffet, the Wizard of Omaha. Not of Budapest. And what on earth is the reference to COVID? Nowhere in the GEICO statement is COVID mentioned as having anything to do with GEICO eliminating jobs. But go ahead, just string together the right wing bogeymen in a refrigerator magnet string: "COVID" "Globalists" "Soros" "BLM" "Antifa" ... am I missing any? 1 1

Do you recall what happened to American industry when Trump started the trade war against China? A January 2021 study commissioned by the U.S.-China Business Council (USCBC) claims that former president Donald Trump's trade policies cost the United States 245,000 jobs Trump trade war with China has cost 300,000 U.S. jobs, Moody's estimates Of course, you don't. Big Blitz Posted October 20, 2023 Author Posted October 20, 2023 Millennials have destroyed this country. Gen Z is going to be even worse. We went from 2 genders to 87 in less then a decade. We can go from Republic to police state in much quicker time. When everyone is broke and hungry, the revolution won’t be to expand free markets or limit DCs control over your life. 1 1

I think everyone who is paying attention should be concerned about COVID, pandemic management, who was allowed to gather and spread the virus and who wasn’t, the fallout from the compulsory vaccination and the politicization of the virus. Very little reflects anything approximating the finest hours of our nation. That said, the lingering aftermath of COVID is real (another reason everything top to bottom should be reviewed) and the impact on industry very apparent. This story represents friends and neighbors losing their jobs, something WNY knows far too much about. Sad news. 2
