I wasn’t against Lenny as a third back if needed, but it’s not a huge loss if we don’t bring him in. Not sure how much juice he has left at this point.

Fournette was still playing at a high level last season.  Maybe the Bills suspect he's now fallen off the cliff, like Dalvin Cook appears to have done, but it's worth bringing Fournette in to kick the tires.

Another bruiser in the back field would not be a bad thing i just wish they would have had this mind set a couple of years back this is something this team has been missing but there again if Moss would have been the guy he is now they wouldn't have needed another back but that is yesterday ...

Valid. However let's also remember that Johnson does have added value in the return game. Damien Harris had started returning kickoffs with my guess being to let Harty focus more on WR duties. He would be more of a direct replacement than Fournette.

I think we wanted him as a rental for a few weeks, until Harris is back, and he wants something more permanent, at least for this season. No hard feelings.

Brown didn't want to be here. The other 2 had interest. Ertz actually said publicly in a speech he thought he was being traded to Buffalo but the deal was nixed at the last minute

Sounds like the Bills chose a PS Squad player who they think has potential and knows playbook at least somewhat  instead of an accomplished playoff performer, good pass blocking back and good receiving back.

 

I'm disappointed, but oh well
