Why?

Agreed.

He is in no way an apples-to-apples replacement for Harris.

He is more of a Murray replacement, who he is still healthy.

He’s only 28? Pleasant surprise.

If he’s been staying in good shape this is a quality pickup in the middle of the season

he’s a very good playoff performer and an underrated pass catching back

also Sean wanted to add a brawler after watching the after the whistle antics from Giants hahaha

Fournette has 10 TDs in 9 career playoff games

A running game of Cook with  Murray and Fournette in December and January could be really valuable

Lenny has a nasty edge this offense could use more of….

We’re gonna need another running back might as well replace him with somebody that fits the skills of the player that went down

I just hope it’s not season ending for Damien. Don’t need any more of that.

I pretty much expect him to go on IR. A sprained neck takes an average person not playing Football 4-6 weeks to fully heal. And they're going to play it safe with a neck injury. Take into account a concussion on top of it and he's going to miss at least a month, more likely a month and a half - maybe more.

Maybe he comes back towards the end of the season and the playoffs. But it's going to be a while, so you might as well put him on IR (with the new return rules) and see how it goes.

McD clearly wants to set a more physical tone on offense, earlier in the game.  He has wanted that his entire tenure but has never gotten it.  He signed and captained Frank Gore, he drafted Zach Moss.  His OCs have always been Madden playcallers who ignore his strategic directives.  Now he’s loading up with bettering rams (Murray, Harris and Fournette) to force Dorsey’s hand.  Let’s see if Dorsey actually uses him - I bet he doesn’t.  It’s an amazing cycle if you step back and think about it.

But also, with Allen’s shoulder injury making goal line carries a bigger risk, this signing makes sense.

only 28 years old.....great talent but I think a bit of a malcontent.  He can maybe help in spot duty.  He is a low Y/A guy across his career, never became what he could have.

This would be an amazing signing,  I am sure the low football IQ guys who say no were the same clowns making excuses after the Cincy playoff game when we could not run the ball.  Having two beasts like Murray/Leonard Fournette along with a change of pace back like Cook will do wonders for the Bills running game.  The line is better,  better RB'S and only thing left is for Beanne to add another top receiver.
