Special K Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 Can anyone explain this?? When seeing the replay, it was clear that these three idiots committed unprovoked acts of aggression on Dawkins and Brown. Thibideaux was seen kicking Dawkins in the head and neck area, and Lawrence and Williams threw themselves like missles and knocked Brown to the ground. I'm sure their wallets will be lighter later in the week, but at least one, if not all three of these clowns should have been ejected from the game!! Thoughts?? 4 7 2 Quote
Simon Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 You wanted them to eject most of the Giants DLine all at once because of some shoving and wrestling on one play? 5 2 1 1 2 Quote
Bermuda Triangle Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 I'm sure that Daboll told his guys to target Brown, Oliver and Dawkins - guys who are hotheads and would likely take the bait. No punches were thrown, and none of the actions rose to the level of being an intent to injure, so I was okay with the offsetting PFs. 1 1 Quote
That's No Moon Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 The better question is, why was Josh Allen being an absolute dumbass and throwing his throwing shoulder into that mess? 3 5 1 2 1 Quote

DrDawkinstein Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 They didnt do anything ejection worthy. That is pretty much down to throwing a punch. Lawrence was close when he got Brown on the ground, but didnt swing. 1 Quote

He had banged up the shoulder prior to that skirmish 1 Quote

DabillsDaBillsDaBills Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 Personally I would've ejected Williams. That was a pretty energetic hit a solid 30 seconds after the whistle and semi-injured Brown (who hadn't really done anything during the play/scrum). Frustrating to see 4 personal fouls called with 3 on the Giants and 1 on the Bills only to all offset. And the call on the Bills was the weakest one of the bunch. 5 1 5 1 Quote

Maybe Dawkins too since he was sort of the one that started the whole thing. Hands to the face twice on one play; he should have been called for the first one, if not the second one also. 1 2 Quote

Exactly....the play was long over, and he's physically chasing Brown around to knock him to the ground....totally out of line. Plus Thibideaux actually kicked Dawkins....kicking someone is the same as throwing a punch, IMO. 3 3 1 1 Quote

Although Spencer was playing mean through the whistle right along with Dawkins (and Thibodeaux). Lawrence overreacted some but Williams was frustrated from just having a football jammed down his craw for 8 straight minutes and was out of line. 1 Quote

Unfortunately, the only action will be taken this week, and it will be pointless fines that these particular well-paid players won't even notice. Maybe if the kicking in the head thing is obvious there might be some potential for a suspension...but I didn't even catch that from my vantage (which is actually pretty perfect to see that all unfold, down near that goal line on the Bills side). You miss a lot of details in person. You see some things with amazing clarity, but you just can't take it all in on every play. And you definitely don't get any info from the PA system or replays. They injured Brown, did he get back into the game? I know he's our least favorite O-lineman performance wise but that was ***** up. 1 Quote

After he knocked Brown down he stood over with a clenched fist, coiled, but then thought better of it. Quote

Probably not. Will the rest of the Bills love him even more? You betcha. He's as tall as the linemen, though not as heavy, and he doesn't think anyone can push him or his teammates around. 1 Quote
Albanybillsbacker Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 The only thing that was close to ejection worthy was the kicking by Thibideaux. I don’t know how the announcers didn’t catch on to that. https://x.com/complexsports/status/1713749037570990304?s=46&t=ZPSqGVzU97vtboh4VlefLw Quote

Thibideaux repeatedly kicked (at least 4 times). That should have been an ejection. additionally, How do 3 Objectionable conducts offset with 1? What a stupid rule. Typical NFL logic. 1 2 2 Quote
