We better hope that when Rodgers comes back he is extremely limited. If he is normal Rodgers, trouble… Aaron Rodgers is finished I don’t buy all the hype that guy took a nothing hit and tore his Achilles. He’s old and it’s showing. 1 1 Quote

Steptide Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 Eagles had 4? Turnovers and still had a chance to win. Jets defense is good, but let's not get too carried away 1 Quote

Saying 3 points is guaranteed is the same as saying a blocked FG or turnover is guaranteed. I will die on this hill. If you're losing the game, you score. If you're winning the game, you stop them from scoring. It's as simple as that. Overthinking it and making assumptions is how you lose. It’s about strategy to give your team the best odds of winning. Walk off fg with time gone is the best in that situation. Why do you think the Eagles defense just let him scored? They knew that was THEIR best chance of winning by getting the ball back quickly. Saleh was not pleased when Breece scored. Quote

Saleh was not pleased when Breece scored. Yes he was. Because they were losing and Breece Hall's score made them winning. The Eagles defense let them score because they made assumptions and look...they lost the game. You're saying it was smart to give opposing team the game winning score and give the ball to a QB who's been struggling all game? Well, look at the result. You gave away the points that cost the game and your QB did nothing. Way to go. 4 minutes ago, 90sBills said: It isn’t. Yes in that situation it is. From the Eagles perspective the Jets were already in chip shot range. Just hand off a few times to take time off. Yes their qb struggled. But if they get the ball back there’s still a chance vs not getting the ball back with time and no chance. Yeah 100% more points at THAT point of the game. There’s still plenty of time left. Eagles tried to do this in the Superbowl but Chiefs didn’t bite. Because they’re a better coached team that has situational awareness. 1 Quote
