He may say these things archly; they are no less unnerving and newsworthy. This should be a clarion call for all dispassionate journalists to cover the apparent mental decline of both Biden and Trump. It’s not only fair game; it’s vital for the body electorate. public service for the uneducated here: If you say something archly, you express it in a teasing sort of way. When someone acts archly toward you, it might offend you a bit, or it might make you laugh. You act archly when you put on an affected style of speech, or say something that's playfully sarcastic.
