Buffalo_Stampede Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Once Von is full go we’ll have Rousseau, Miller, Floyd, Lawson, and Jonathan. Jonathan has shown promise. Epenesa’s value won’t be any higher. He’s playing good football. The other option is extending him to pair with Rousseau in the future. With the injuries Epenesa could bring back a solid player to help at CB or LB. 1 4 1 3 8 Quote
peterpan Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 He finally looked good. I’m not sure Von will be back, ACLs are tough. 2 Quote
Success Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 He has been incredible - one of the more disruptive players we have out there. I can't see him getting traded. 5 1 1 2 Quote

Donuts and Doritos Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 WHAT? He's like the only healthy defender we have left. 4 3 4 Quote

We have depth. Jonathan looks good. We have 5 quality edge players not including Epenesa. If Denver wanted Epenesa and a pick for Surtain you wouldn’t do it? Eastport bills Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 After his best game as a Bills lineman, you can’t. This could be a huge stopgap solution to Miller’s ramp up and an upgrade in depth. With Milano and Jones down, we need AJ in the worst way. 1 2 Quote
phypon Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 I'd prefer keeping the PBM (Pass Bat Monster) 1 Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 I think it’s a fair question. That’s one position they haven’t necessarily been snakebit completely. And if they aren’t going to have the money to resign him, go for it. 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Dependent on the compensation Definitely would be fielding calls 2 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 The only way they trade AJE is if they already decided he isn't a long term plans kind of player. And I doubt they have made that decision after he is having a breakout through these injury opportunities. Him and Groot could anchor our Edge rush a long time if he keeps playing at this level and shows its not just some little short lived hot streak. 1 6 Quote
Norcalbillsfan Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Only way I'd trade epenesa is if the bills FO is truly still all in on a SB this year. You can package him with a pick and get a premium WR2 then maybe. Other wise bills will need his depth and impact plays this year. Quote

SoonerBillsFan Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 No. get Elam off the roster for a box of tape and a 5th next year for all I care. We are going to need him next year when we have to clear a ton of cap space/ have cuts. He and Groot need to be the starting DE's going forward. I don't even know if Von can come back at this point, but with his contract, we might have to keep him. With Von's age and injury history, he will be a situational pass rusher, not an every-down DE so AJ has to stay 1 Quote
SectionC3 Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Honestly I just had the same thought. Depends on the return and the purpose. If it’s to accumulate meaningful draft capital to buy a corner or a WR, and if Floyd, Miller, Rousseau, and Jonathan are all healthy … count me in. Sell a strength to address what could be a significant weakness. 1 minute ago, Draconator said: Why? Why post this? Or is that Rosseau bucks? If it’s going to Groot, trying to flip him for CB/WR/stud off ball LB is not a crazy idea. Quote
