This looks great.

Then you remember it doesn't include 3 of our best players who are on IR 😭

But the DEs having no designation is great news. I'm assuming at least one of the TEs will play.

I'll be surprised if Kincaid plays

Maybe Knox will play and give us his obligatory 3 catches for 15 yards game

With a touchdown #88

Are we sure about that?  Everyone thought there was tension between the two most of his last year here.

Good point. Everyone think Diggs hates buffalo too.(maybe not everyone)  I guess you never know.

The one matchup that seems to favor the Giants, is their interior DL [Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams] is stout.  Will be a test for Morse, McGovern, and Torrence.  Barkley would normally scare me, esp how we have been playing the run, but their O-Line is patchwork to be polite, so whatever he gets is probably on his own.  If our edges were healthy [Von on a pitch count, Groot & Lawson dinged up] , their offense tackles are the worst pair in the league.

I can accept the Jags loss - weird game, London, injuries, weird game.

I can't accept a loss Sunday.  We're home, and we should win this game 9x out of 10.

Rousseau has a broken bone in his foot. It is somewhat of a surprise that he has no injury designation from what I've been told. I would guess he will be still be somewhat limited in the game.

Seriously? I haven't read anything like that. If it's broken, it's definitely surprising that he was full in the last practice.

He doesn't have a major fracture the way we normally think of a broken foot, but one of the small bones in his feet is broken. It's the kind of injury you can technically play on because it's not possible to make the injury worse, but he could cause the healing to be delayed if he puts too much stress on it. Mostly it is about pain tolerance and making sure it can still heal properly.

I sort of disagree with this. Might be time to change the narrative that we are weak inside on the OL. They did well against the Jets DL. The Commanders DL. They held Wilkens in check. Williams of the Jets wasn't a factor.

If anything I'd call it strength vs strength. Our weak spots are at the tackle positions. I don't thing they have the edge rushers to exploit that.

Has this been reported and I missed it or inside source?

Where did you get this from? The only bones in the foot are metacarpals (Toes) and meta tarsals (connected to the toes) before the ankle/leg bones. A broken toe you can deal with. A broken metacarpal, which is more likely, can absolutely be made worse with continued use and if it’s a hairline fracture they he’s definitely at risk for fracturing it completely and requiring surgery.

I was worried about a broken metatarsal (Sammy Watkins had this and had surgery then came back too soon) so please let me know where you heard this. I’d be shocked if they are letting him play with that but who knows, I’ve been wrong before.

Ok so this is the type of game where Buffalo scares the sht out of me.

Every single factor points to us absolutely destroying their offense. They have by far the WORST O-line in the league with all their injuries. We have one of the best D-lines (Well, with Jones we did) and the most sacks in the league.

Everything points to us blowing up their offense. Why do I think that’s not going to happen? Is it my BBFS kicking in?

It seems so often that when we have a clear advantage in one area, we don’t take advantage of it. Against Cinci they had a garbage O-line and we didn’t take advantage of it.

I’m still worried we play down to our opponent. Hopefully I’m wrong and we blow their doors off.

I think this game is going to be close. No I dont think there is any chance we lose, but I think its gonna be closer than this two touchdown spread (really hope I am wrong as I would love a blowout and me leaving my seats with 8 minutes to go in the 4th quarter when Kyle Allen starts taking snaps).

Giants are desperate, will pull out all the stops.

Daboll homecoming, will pull out all the stops.

About the above, his players will be pulling out all the stops to help him get a win.

They are bad on offense no doubt, and pretty much on defense too, but they have played a very hard schedule so I don't think they are really 1-4 bad.

We have new pieces acclimating on defense.

Injured player theory - when an important player for a team cant play, for the FIRST week the rest of the team rises up and plays better than they have, often resulting in a win (Daniel Jones out, TT in - theory is a gambling one purported by vegas capper Marco D'Angelo).

Im not nervous, but I think this will be a football game until the 4th quarter. Hope like hell I am wrong. Just how I'm feeling about this week.

Go Bills!

Fake punts and field goals.

I imagine three coaches burning the midnight oil (more than usual) to prove a point:

  • McDermott... to prove he's a Defensive mastermind, and wasn't wrong for letting Daboll go.
  • Dorsey... to prove he's just as good as Daboll, if not better. Grasshopper wants to defeat teacher.
  • Daboll... to prove last season wasn't a fluke and that he is HC material after all... and that the Bills made a mistake letting him go

I also imagine Josh is hyped up to show he's a good QB no matter who is OC.

Bills didn't let Daboll go. It was a promotion and teams don't get in the way of those.
