No wonder why he looked so terrible whenever he got into a game...he literally had no idea what was going on.  How is it possible for a player to get to the NFL and then not want to do everything in their power to be the best they can be?

To me, it's even more, how does a TEAM, coaches, teammates too, etc. even allow that? I can understand one being lazy about it compared to other payers, doing it half-ass, but not at all? Hard to believe.

If you're wondering how a team picks a player like this as their Franchise QB, you have to remember that this is the same team that decided move on from Baker Mayfield who got them their first playoff win in 26 years, played his heart out for them while injured the next year, only for them to trade for a serial sex offender to replace him and ship him off to a team working on getting a #1 overall pick.

 

So you know a classy well run organization.

I think the obvious answer is that a lot of more these guys are guilty of the same thing than you'd probably think. 

 

That's why when I post a hot take on this board after 15 minutes of Youtube replays and posters tell me to "leave it to the pros," I can confidently remain steadfast in my opinion! 😤😅

Yep. But I recall some Bills players - wasn't it Ted Washington - pushing him into lockers, and telling him to learn the damn plays. Players don't like that stuff.
