You can’t get game reps without actually playing in a game

You don't need "game reps" when you're playing below practice rep quality. When the dude can beat Alec Anderson, he can start getting game reps.

It’s not the same-no pads, and Alec Anderson is not the same quality as what he is facing. Don’t you want him working through it now as opposed to against the Eagles bengals and Chiefs?

I wasn’t able to watch much of the game, I was wondering how Von looked and played. It would be great to see him start rounding into shape soon.

BTW, I think Epenesa is starting to look like a beast

Honestly ... slow and not anywhere near what he was last year. I watched 2 definite sacks he should have had coming off the edge and the ball was gone before he got there. If it were Von of last year, Taylor would get planted into the turf.

Again: the future HOFer gets the benefit of the doubt from me. He is (hopefully) not to his true state.

While he heals, he should be playing a rotational role behind Floyd AJE and Groot.

That contract is, and was always, going to be a killer unless we make it to the promised land.

I am putting the cart before the horse, but if he shows very little the rest of the year, I cut him in the offseason, and take the dead cap hit.

As far as the present, WTF are the coaches thinking not only activating him, but putting him on the field. He is beyond useless right now.

32 mil guaranteed still after this season…you could designate a post June 1 cut and spread it out down the line…Beane has already stretched the cap down the line about as far as he can go. They’re going to have to eat most of it.

Youre much more likely to see it AFTER next season (15 mil dead remaining) which they could spread out and wouldn’t be such a burden in future years.

No. I want him deactivated until he's ready to play. My point is that he couldn't even beat Alec Anderson right now. This version of Von Miller is not even an NFL talent. He's being abused by bottom tier tackles. We may need to accept that like Tre White, he'll never return to form. This injury at his age is often a career ender.

He hasn't played since last year. He had no offseason program, no training camp or preseason. Do people really expect Von to be in mid-season form right away.

He shouldn't have been activated if he wasn't ready. He most likely won't have an impact this year. Look at Tre last year. Von looks similar.

There was a time or two where he would dip under the tackle and have him beat but then would kind of stand there looking at the QB before slowly jogging towards him.

That was a mistake if Von was playing ahead of or taking reps away from Kingsley Jonathan in that second half. Jonathan brings juice and he should be working in more, not less. Let him develop. He brings a hustle that is needed.

From what I saw in the Giants game, Von is taking up a valuable roster spot from a healthy player.  Let him build up his strength and trust in the knee during practice not games.

For everyone saying Von is washed up, I hope he makes you all eat crow.  He’s two games back from an ACL injury, one of which his reps were limited and the other against a fairly mobile QB.  His ACL was torn just last Thanksgiving, and he’s already on the field.  If he’s still in the sideline recovering, folks would be complaining that he’s sitting on his big pile of money.  Give the guy a few more games before the indictments are served.

He was on pace for more than 12 sacks last year. Let’s let him shake the rust off and peak in the playoffs.

Only time I saw him today was the Progressive commercial with Steph and the gold suits.

We’re saving Von for the playoffs but we’re not gonna *make* the playoffs.

May not be THE worst ever signing by the team but should definitely be involved in the discussion.
