McDermott going to step back and hire a defensive coordinator next season I guess.

I'm not convinced McDermott HAS IT.

Yea, the team was amazing last week at home against Miami but this past weekend - out coached.

I was there - stadium was jumpin with Bills fans - and the Bills just seemed off.  What a depressing evening and flight home the next day.

13 seconds convinced me he doesn't. But my opinion means nothing. Only Terry's counts.

I doubt McDermott is getting fired. Here in the NYC area on WFAN, Esiason is speculating that if Bill and the Pats part ways then he would love to coach the Giants. Just speculation on Boomer's part but Bill does have a history with the Giants. At around 70 years old would he be interested in going through a rebuild. I doubt it.

Yeah, they mentioned the Giants, too... but they drove home Buffalo because of the roster (they LOVE Josh Allen here) and it would REALLY bother the locals that Bill jumped for another team in the AFC East.

If BB is fired my guess would be as GM. I think he is still a good coach just a terrible talent evaluator now. Also Bills be dumb to move on from their HC unless the wheels fall off.

I don't think McDermott and Beane are in danger of getting fired. But these playoff losses every year are frustrating.

Now Felger & Mazz think Bill will go to Buffalo in a heartbeat... lol

Won't happen but I would love it if it did. 9 Super Bowl appearances with 6 championships with a franchise QB and a good roster. I will take that over McChokesintheplayoffseveryyear. 24-7-365

The way this offense can go from running like a sports car to a dump truck in 7 days is baffling.  At some point the roller coaster needs to stop.  We have all seen how great this team can be.  We only get so many chances with Allen at the helm.  Beane has to be at least pondering the idea of coaching being the issue.  Also is there an issue with this teams conditioning?  Lots of injuries the past 2-3 years.

When will fans understand that Beane has FAR less power than McDermott?  Coach McDermott can get Beane fired, at least until Mr. Pegula wakes up from the trance he is in after McDermott sold him a bill of goods.

See, now I think that's the first step to getting rid of Bill all together.

We all know how petty Belichick can be. It's actually one of his only redeeming traits IMO. The second Kraft strips away GM duties Bill would resign. He's had full power for far far too long to share it at this stage of his career. He's not taking what would equate to a demotion and sticking around.

I remember in an interview when they were first hired that Terry said both men report to him. Both have equal power and neither one can fire the other. Terry is the only one who can make changes to the HC/GM

If I was Kraft i would do it and say to Bill “ We have to do what’s best for the team.” Which would get him to resign  faster lol.   Seriously though His GM skills gotten bad!

It’s always been bad. He doesn’t have Brady bailing him out now.

That is true (and I hate that structure), but i think Bill meant McD has more sway with Terry than Beane. Remember, he hired McD first and then Beane on his recommendation.

That’s just not my true. People forget Brady was average for the first few years and at least 2 SB.. I will agree he was bad at times but come on getting Moss for a 4th and Welker for a 2nd and 7th was great GM moves…heck even now his drafting of D players isn’t terrible.. but on O it’s beyond bad.

I humbly disagree. He’s terrible at talent evaluation.

You could never have a new GM in Foxboro and keep Belichick around. How is that going to work? They have to clean house. Throw Bill a big ceremony and send him on his way.
