78thealltimegreat Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Allen next year will count less against the cap then Daniel Jones if you think you can get a guy go get a guy. Quote

Those are all marginal players with situational skill sets. Jeudy is a legit top 2 WR that can run all the routes. Not only does he immediately slot in as our primary WR2, but everyone else gets bumped down the depth chart - which helps a limited player like Davis look better in a reduced role facing lesser DBs. More realistically I think Jeudy is an obvious move. Through 4 games he is catching 70.8% of his targets. Unlike Davis he can run every route. He isn't a superstar but he would be an upgrade for sure. What would they want for him? A 2nd? Didn't they release Gregory? Quote

I get the "bump down" and like I said...I get the theory of #2 WR being a need. I just lack confidence that Dorsey knows how to utilize what he's got. He doesn't have a history of scheming guys to success. Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 I actually was rooting for the Jets mainly because of Paytons uncalled for comments back in July about Hackett. This was kind of a revenge game for him and couldn't happen to a nicer guy in Payton. Did think it was funny at the end when Wilson fumbled the last time, as he walked off the field Payton said something to him and Wilson just walked by and ignored him. Not sure which of the two I like less though Wilson or Payton, tough call there. Quote
ChrisCMU Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Broncos fan here, I was rooting for the loss because they need to start over. I can't imagine the Bills wanting a lot from the Broncos. The best I can see would be Josey Jewell if Milano is out a while. I think these Broncos have value on the market (I don't think they trade PS2): -Sutton (contract isn't great, would need to be to team with injury) -Juedy? (hasn't been great but on rookie contract still) -Garrett Bolles (mediocre LT, would need to be injury replacement) -Ben Powers -McGlinchey? -DJ Jones -Josey Jewell -Justin Simmons (young, good safety but has been part of losing here too long) -Kareem Jackson -Russell Wilson (contract is biggest issue, Broncos need to eat salary, maybe restructure and pay as bonus) I think those guys are all vets and/or have been part of losing too long here. Or they block development of younger people behind them. I don't know who the Bills would want (I don't know the team that well), that is a different question. But I think those are the guys who would be available to contenders needing to fill a hole. Quote
