Defensive tackle situation

All our injuries are bad but I see our defense getting shredded against the run going forward.

DaQuan was such a force and his play really helped out Oliver. 

Phillips seems to do nothing but try to fire up the crowd, Settle never makes plays and no idea what’s going on with Poona Ford.

Of course the Milano  injury is huge but so is Jones injury.

There is going to be no replacing what Daquan and Milano bring to the table for our Defense.  These injuries are far more devastating for the season outlook than the loss itself today

Id lean towards yes, because the players were pretty vocal about the turf after the game.

I believe so.  There was no reported injury in any of the post game pressers.

Yeah Jones being out against the bengals in the playoffs was huge IMO.

 

Phillips got his hands on a couple passes today FWIW.

Oliver played well even after Jones went out. I would expect Poona may be active going forward. 

 

Dorian Williams flashed a few times today. Sure, had a few rough snaps as well. But I'm excited to see what he may bring

For sure, very frustrating.  I just laugh when fans think Beane can waive his magic wand and work a trade on the spot to bring in a comparable replacement to guys like that.

I thought J Phillips was Ok he had a deflection and did some things. Poona Ford is going to be critical. Can he back fill for Jones enough? Also is there any update on Jones?

Von looked ineffective, didn't really have that burst, so I was fine with him sitting instead of ripping up his ACL on that bull#### turf.

This is where all the Beane offseason moves kick in (Poona, keeping lots of DBs, Rapp, drafting LBs high every year).  Let's hope it's enough.

Poona Ford will get the call and I think he will do well. If the Bills can get Jones back at some point that will help but the Bills with Ford in place for Jones can be OK. Just have to hope along the edge Groot and Shaq come back.

Eli Ankou got snagged a few days too early.  

This is why Poona was brought in.

Too bad they lost Ankou this week off the PS. Hindsight is 20/20 but maybe they should have found a way to put him on the 53 vs losing him to Atlanta.
