No. TJ Watt missed 7 games. If it's completely torn yeah it's prolly 4 to 6 mos. Quote

Buffalo_Stampede Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 I’m expecting both done for the year. If they come back for a playoff run great. Bills haven’t hit the tough part of the schedule yet. This will be a tough year to make the playoffs. I don’t see it. Quote

JJ Watt returned from surgery for a torn pec a few years ago, against us actually in the wildcard game at Houston. And his torn pec happened on October 27, almost three full weeks after Jones tore his. Of course Watt is a genetic freak and I would think for a 1T it's harder to bounce back from a pec injury, but there is a small glimmer of hope there that he could be back for the playoffs. 1 Quote

BillsFooteball Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Once we knew the news was bad isn’t this the best possible outcome? Is it overly optimistic to believe both can return for playoffs? Jones I feel definitely, Milano I can have some hope now compared to guaranteed season ending. I saw posts saying possible career ender for Milano which clearly isn’t the case Quote
jahnyc Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 This will be good news if Milano didn't tear his ACL (or other ligaments) and does not need surgery for that. I assume if it is a broken bone in his leg that he will have a full recovery and return to form. Quote

No surgery generally means maybe four to six weeks before rehab. Is Jones going under the knife for sure? Edit: ok I see he's having surgery. So maybe he's done for this year after all. I still think we need to know how severe the tear is. Just maybe he could make the playoffs. Edited October 9, 2023 by starrymessenger 1 Quote
