Buffalo / Jacksonville 2nd half game thread

Two issues:

 

1. Not a home game.  Bills were tired and it shows.  Jax resting all week and Bills admit to being tired.  JA missing plays, DL missing run contain and pass interference.  

 

2. poor travel planning by bills and failure to have players sleep on plane. 

 

The schedule sucked, and the Bills played i to it by not traveling well and their trainers failing to stretch these guys out (injuries) and poor travel planning by them.

Dorsey needs to go but that seems extremely unlikely, at least during the season. Another early playoff exit for Allen is in the cards.

McDummy has wasted a heroic effort by a defense that was undermanned, injury-riddled, third-string, gassed, and they gave their all.  Not kicking the 60-yard FG in a game this close was a fatal mistake.  We could tie the damn game with a TD and a 2-pt. conversion, but now it's a two-possession game, with a gassed D.  Well done coaching staff.  How's that sport science staff working out?

With all the injuries, you have to give some props to the D (Especially Epenesa). Unfortunately, it was a woeful performance by Allen and the offense-- which is par for the course, when they face a good defense.

No way. Dorsey has been playing into the strength of the cover 2 shell all game long. The same play calling that lost the Jets game.

Under the circumstances the D did as well as anyone could expect in this game. Gave our Offense chance after chance to make a game of this. 

 

Embarrassing effort by the Bills Offense and Dorsey. We needed the Offense to step up in this game. The injuries on Defense are almost laughable (to keep from crying) they are so bad. And not being able to score more than 7 points with 7 mins left in the 4th quarter is a complete joke. 

 

This Offense is feast or complete famine... And they have fixed nothing, because when they get punched in the face they still crumble...

I just don't get why they're forcing 12 formation against a D that is really really good against 12 formation. That's definitely on Dorsey.

He runs out of the shotgun more then any OC I’ve ever seen
