Roger Goodell says NFL may add new international host for a game in 2024

So as it stands, they have what? England, Germany and Mexico?

 

London, Munich/Frankfurt and Mexico City…?

 

Got to believe the next option would be possibly another European host. Maybe Italy/Rome, Ireland and France/Paris? Could even go to South America; Brazil, as there is a huge following there. 

Only reason I see another European market is for that reason, it’s the whole of Europe as a market. 
 

They could go China but is that on the basis of hoping to expand publicity and interest there? I have never really heard of NFL having a large following there…

I am guessing its going to be Germany or Mexico. The Toronto thing was a disaster and the CFL doesn't want the NFL there. When they had the European League the German Teams always had some of the highest attendance. A lot of the military stationed there went to the games (like me).

Cities without NFL teams: Birmingham, Ala, Biloxi, Miss, San Antonio, Oakland, Portland, Ore, Salt Lake City, Boise, etc

If they can do Mexico City, they can probably do Rio de Jinero and be safe. That would be a good spot or maybe Dublin.

I hate it when the Bills are on Thursday, even Thanksgiving.

Yep.  The crime rate in Brazil is substantial as is Mexico.  Besides, if we’re being honest, this is about $ and extending the brand.  The SES and crime rates are much more stable in Spain, Germany, and England.

The Players Association has to draw a line in the sand. The Thursday games are so hard on the players. The greed of the NFL is just jaw dropping.

Really wish they'd stick to the international stuff during the preseason.  Using these as home games shorts both the players and the American fans.
