Why shouldn't he dispute the number of deaths?  Hamass claimed Israel hit the hospital and that was a total lie with serious consequences.  They get no BOTD.

Because he doesn’t know and can’t say for sure.

The Israelis started off with 40 dead and ended up over 1300. They didn’t have to sift through thousands of tons of rubble to find them and it took them over a week.

On the flip side the Palestinians have been bombarded non-stop for over two weeks and we’re supposed to know how many are dead let alone say anybody is lying about it? Come

on! That’s not acceptable behavior from the leader of the free world. That demented old f^*K.

If you say so, but believe it when I see it

https://www.cnn.com/middleeast/live-news/israel-hamas-war-gaza-news-10-27-23/index.html

There has been “significant progress” on negotiations to release hostages held by Hamas but there are issues still remaining, diplomatic sources familiar with the negotiations told CNN.

“Negotiations are going very well. We have a breakthrough,” the source said. “There are issues still remaining, but talks are ongoing, and we remain hopeful.”

The US Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs Barbara Leaf is in Doha for meetings with Qatar’s leadership, a person familiar with the meetings said.

Asked about the status of the negotiations, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant commented at a news conference on Thursday, saying, “every channel is a possible channel.”

“One thing should be clear — we have a goal and I trust the State of Israel and the IDF … and we’ll keep doing every effort to bring the hostages and the missing back," Gallant said.

Meanwhile, a Western official familiar with the hostage negotiations told CNN that there is still optimism around a possible release, but there is also recognition that the clock is ticking. The official indicated the talks have made progress but noted Israel won’t delay a ground operation for much longer.

We are bombing dark skinned people?

If you are talking about Hamas, who are not "dark skinned," we are not doing that.

If you're talking about the Syrian strikes, there have been about 30 attacks on US troops by Iranian militia, (read surrogates), in the last three weeks.

Should we not respond and simply let this continue?

Should we simply ask our deployed forces to absorb these?

Explosive Journal report reveals an arms-smuggling route direct from Iran to ‘Palestinian’ terrorists…

disguised as aid packages

by Olivia Murray

Yesterday, The Wall Street Journal published a bombshell report, identifying an arms-trafficking scheme in which “Iran and its allies” have been smuggling heavy weapons and small arms to the jihadi terrorists occupying certain areas of Israel; see the lede below: Long before Hamas militants burst out of their Gaza stronghold [snip] the arms flowing from the terrorist regimes to the smaller terrorist groups, often comes disguised as aid packages.[snip] after [an] earthquake in Turkey and Syria, Iran “began hauling large quantities of weapons to Syria” in shipments disguised as aid

Time to pay attention.

Back on about page 20 of this thread, I mentioned to keep an eye on where these carriers go.

If we send one to waters of the Northern Arabian Sea off Oman, it would be very noteworthy.

New media reported, universally, that Eisenhower was going to deploy to join Ford in the eastern Med.

I mentioned that the thing to watch for was if we deployed a carrier to Fifth Fleet in the Arabian Sea.

Here's my quote from the US Navy Birthday thread on October 14:

"On a related note, USS Eisenhower was supposed to get underway yesterday from Norfolk, but it has been delayed at least a day.

All of the high visibility networks were claiming that it was going to join Ford in the eastern Med, but the Navy never discusses ship movements.

She could certainly do that, or backfill the waters near Italy where Ford was supporting the Ukrainian thing, or she could sail through the Suez and join 5th fleet in the northern Indian Ocean to keep Iran in check.

I can't imagine the alert level if she transits the Suez."

Well.....Guess what?

If current reposts are true, and they may not be, Eisenhower is sailing through the Suez the Northern Arabian Sea, as I suggested.

This is extremely significant.

https://news.usni.org/2023/10/23/uss-dwight-d-eisenhower-midway-across-atlantic-en-route-to-the-middle-east

THE PENTAGON – The Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean as it heads to the Middle East, instead of joining the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin directed the Ike Carrier Strike Group to U.S. Central Command on Sunday.

If this is to be believed, guess where it's going, though they don't mention it.

I was reading today that the terrorist trained in Iran in September.  But the narrative is Gaza is a prison and nothing but aid can come or go.

Every knows so much… so

many details… except for the 7th. All dumb that day and leading up to it. Amazing.

And it is an open air prison for law abiding citizens. For the good people that live there. Yes. It is.

its almost like Hamas has Terrorist working for the UN/NGO that supplies the aid?  How else?

A further 34 trucks of aid have since entered Gaza and are solely being administered by the U.N., whose biggest agency on the ground is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA)

and at this point, it's pretty easy to see Hamas terrorizes the good people of Gaza as well as the Israelites.

Maybe they do. Hell I’d say there’s a strong chance.
