I will say this though if the roles were reversed you wouldn’t be nearly as understanding as I am. I’ve stated several times I don’t mind a one state solution and that one state can be called Israel. I have recognized their right to exist. I have condemned Oct 7th. I have condemned Hamas. I appreciate all the fine Jewish people out there that are standing side by side with those of us that crave peace and equality. I’ve said all that several times here. My father and mother left after the war in 67 and weren’t allowed to be citizens of the place they grew up in. They needed a visa to enter a country they were raised in! Let that sink in! Would you be as understanding and sympathetic if the roles were reversed? One nuke. Ka-Pow. Situation resolved. No more Hamas. What a mess.

Tiberius Posted April 30 Author Posted April 30 Israel is admitting that many of the hostages are dead. They held up negotiations over numbers obviously knowing that their brutal campaign into Gaza was going to kill hostages. It is what it is 1

The "dock" is completely unprotected, so any weather of any serious consequence is going to stop the operation. Think WWII Normandy, but worse. The vessels being used are quite small, so any serious weather is going to require them to be hoisted until it passes. Regarding other news on this front, Eisenhower has now left the Red Sea and is in the Med, meaning there is no carrier to threaten the Houthis. I would say that objectively, Operation Prosperity Guardian has been a mission failure. Traffic through the Red Sea is at 50% of previous levels, and is largely Russian an other unfriendly stuff. There have been 50 attacks on shipping that have been successfully defended, one sinking of a commercial ship and one taken over. The joint forces have been incredibly productive, but the political will to end the threat has not, so it lives on. 2

B-Man Posted May 1 Posted May 1 President Trump Delivers a Painfully Honest Statement About Israeli Hostages and Hamas What President Trump said this morning about the Israeli hostages held by Hamas is brutally honest and true. It is always difficult to tell the hard thing to those who need to pretend not to know the truth. However, one of the great benefits of President Trump’s leadership both domestically and on the global stage is his willingness to say the honest thing consistently. The way this statement is truthfully worded is a pattern of linguistic assembly exclusive to President Donald Trump. Powerful, remarkable and brutally honest https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/04/29/president-trump-delivers-a-painfully-honest-statement-about-israeli-hostages-and-hamas/ . 1

Tommy Callahan Posted May 2 Posted May 2 And the Hamas parrots will be counting these as idf created casualties and injuries while claiming the west and Israel is starving the Palestinians. 3

Tiberius Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 Don't say anything bad about Israel, it will be illegal soon https://www.leefang.com/p/wave-of-legislation-seeks-to-penalize The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to advance a bill that would empower the federal government to crack down on student protests by defining antisemitism in a way that includes certain criticism of Israel. Sponsored by Rep. Mike Lawler, a Republican from New York, the bill's passage reflects a broader national trend. Earlier this year, Gov. Brian Kemp signed H.B. 30, which revised Georgia’s hate crime statute to include certain forms of speech critical of Israel. In March, Gov. Kristi Noem signed legislation into the South Dakota civil rights statute that codified some forms of speech critical of Israel as a form of illegal discrimination. Nearly identical hate crime legislation passed the South Carolina legislature last week and now awaits signature by Gov. Henry McMaster. Florida legislators are rapidly advancing a similar bill that provides enhanced criminal penalties, including extended prison time, for hate crimes involving some forms of speech related to Israel. In New York, state legislators proposed legislation that would make it a Class A misdemeanor – punishable by up to a year in prison – to vandalize "any banner, poster, flyer, or billboard" that supports "the country or citizens of Israel in any way."
All_Pro_Bills Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Looks like the war is back on this morning. Rafah invasion to commence. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have urged many thousands of Palestinian civilians to urgently evacuate ahead of an impending ground offensive. In the overnight hours Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin that Israel now believes it has no choice but the carry on with the major ground operation, despite it having been stalled for months. Gallant cited that a Hamas rocket attack was carried out from Rafah, killing four Israeli soldiers. Airstrikes in eastern Rafah have already begun, and residents and refugees there are being dropped flyers - and homes are also reportedly receiving urgent messages - telling them to evacuate immediately. 1
