They have these things called public opinion polls. They even do them over in that desert

https://apnews.com/article/hamas-middle-east-science-32095d8e1323fc1cad819c34da08fd87

 From 2021

"A new poll released Tuesday finds a dramatic surge in Palestinian support for Hamas following last month’s Gaza war, with around three quarters viewing the Islamic militants as victors in a battle against Israel to defend Jerusalem and its holy sites.

The scientific poll by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research also found plummeting support for President Mahmoud Abbas, who was sidelined by the war but is seen internationally as a partner for reviving the long-defunct peace process.

The poll found that 53% of Palestinians believe Hamas is “most deserving of representing and leading the Palestinian people,” while only 14% prefer Abbas’ secular Fatah party."

useful info.   thanks but I edited my post with this before you responded.  I type and then think harder.  It's one reason I edit so much.

"Many of the palestinians, at this point, want vengeance.  hardly surprising.  it didn't have to be this way.  there'd still be fighting about something however.  the culture of the entire region tends towards barbarism."

Oh, and sometimes polls are not accurate...see 2016, USA

Because the Palestinian people do not reject Hamas.

How can they? Once you have a dictatorship, you can't just vote it out. That's why Trump is an existential threat to American democracy

Yes, there are obvious common threads....capitalizing on emotions void of reason is the most worrisome.  We never learn.  Even the Israelis

Why do you find this preferable to the opposite? I know you’ve compared yourself to Hemingway in this regard but that seems a stretch.

do you like Hemingway?  Who's your fav author save trump?

CNN with some top-notch journalism about a terrorist attack.

Hamas: What to know about the group and why it's attacking Israel now | CNN

"The brazen attack by Palestinian militant group Hamas on Israel that began on Saturday will be seen as a turning point in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict with far-reaching repercussions, analysts say.

The multi-pronged attack saw as many as 1,000 assailants infiltrate Israeli territory, kill hundreds of soldiers and civilians, and take dozens of hostages back into Gaza."

Hamas had delivered “a blow to Israel beyond what it is used to,” and was also putting its capabilities on display, said Omar Rahman, a fellow at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs who focuses on Palestinian affairs. Its shock tactics are a declaration that it “must be taken more seriously,” Rahman said.

So I saw someon Post earlier that the squad was making comments that would make you think that they supported the terrorists

They have all gone on the record and denounce this all they are saying is that they need to work towards a diplomatic solution and it’s easy to understand why, because there are so many civilians in the way

The Palestinian people are not hamas that is a terrorist organization, and separate to its self from  the Palestinian people or civilians, right in the middle of what is about to be a disaster

Should Israel retaliate and have the right to defend itself absolutely I just don’t want to see a bunch of innocent people get killed in the process

nope- Tliab it calling it a resistance and taking defund Israel stance. This isn’t a condemnation.

maybe She need to watch some video of her brethren executing teenaged girls after raping them, or executing little children or shooting up hundreds of dancers at a music festival while shouting Alu akbar over and over. This isn’t war, this isn’t resistance, this isn’t rebellion against occupation it’s inhumane evil and genocide.

 nice try

Tlaib said she continues to “grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost yesterday, today, and every day,” before calling for “dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance.”

She shouldn't have said this.  She's emotional too.  But it's not false. And the big D's called her out on it.  That's what should have happened.

So was I. Once you lose the right to vote, the government is in charge, not the people

huh?  do you believe that Israel does not engage in  apartheid?  Do you think that the conditions that palestinians live under don't foment resistance?  There are few good guys running these countries.  But the people themselves are mostly not to blame.

Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox men on Wednesday blocked a major Jerusalem intersection, snarling traffic and crippling public transportation across the city, in a demonstration against an attempt to force a community member to comply with the country’s mandatory military draft..

The demonstrators formed a large circle on the tracks of the city’s light rail, singing, dancing and praying. Train service was halted, and traffic was backed up for blocks.

The demonstration was a precursor of a looming battle over the country’s military draft.

Do the Israeli's control all sides/borders of the Palestinian territories?

Apartheid (/əˈpɑːrt(h)aɪt/, especially South African English: /əˈpɑːrt(h)eɪt/, Afrikaans: [aˈpartɦɛit]; transl. "separateness", lit. 'aparthood') was a system of institutionalised racial segregation that existed in South Africa and South West Africa (now Namibia) from 1948 to the early 1990s.[note 1] Apartheid was characterised by an authoritarian political culture based on baasskap (lit. 'boss-hood' or 'boss-ship'), which ensured that South Africa was dominated politically, socially, and economically through minoritarianism by the nation's dominant minority white population.[4] According to this system of social stratification, white citizens had the highest status, followed by Indians and Coloureds, then Black Africans.[4]

It's quite amusing - only the cult has the privilege to determine when the FORMER POTUS and LEADING GQP CANDIDATE can be mentioned or avoided in conversation.

Have you observed how it is never ideal that the actions of the former President of the United States be mentioned - esp when the POS shared sensitive classified Israeli information with the Russians which clearly are having a negative impact on national and global security?

But HEY - DON'T SAY THAT - DON'T SAY ORGANGE MAN BAD - the cult can't handle it - they can't HEAR IT - and they CANNOT be held accountable for their vote.

Seriously, FOH
