BillsPride12 Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Hope this is nothing too serious and won't be lingering all season. Hopefully he can heal up 100% and get back to it. Dude is balling this season 10 5 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 That is a blow. Maybe they activate Von? 4 1 1 Quote
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Hopefully one week off and he’s back good to go after that—meanwhile let’s see what kind of potato salad McD can make schematically to maintain the high standard of line play we’ve seen so far, with what’s left. Quote
Beast Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Down the French guy and Tre.  Up steps Von and Elam.  It’s nice to have depth. 6 2 2 Quote
Gregg Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 If the Bills win Sunday to go to 4-1 then I might hold him out vs the Giants if I was Sean to give him 2 weeks to heal. I doubt the Bills will need him to get a win vs them. 4 3 Quote

Andrew Son Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 He seems to get banged up often. Might be that long lanky build, hope it's not a continuing trend. 2 3 3 Quote
BillsUberAlles Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Damn...do the Bills lead the NFL in players who finish a game fine and then miss the next week with an injury that happened during the game??  Seems like this happened a ton last year too. Just now, SWATeam said: He seems to get banged up often. Might be that long lanky build, hope it's not a continuing trend.  Ed Oliver landed on him...pretty sure not many guys would be feeling great if a 290 lb DT landed on their foot 1 1 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 He’s too French for England. They historically don’t get along.  Hopefully they are just being cautious and letting things fully heal so it doesn’t become a long term thing. Foot injuries can be troublesome on a big guy like him. 1 2 1 Quote
Negan Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Von time? Epenesa get after it this week buddy! 1 1 Quote
boyst Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 totally fine with this. we need strength in the later part of the season for that Phili, KC, Dallas run. 2 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Hate losing a guy like him for the game, but rather it be early in the season than late/playoffs. AJE has been playing well. I sort of expect more Lawson on early downs and AJE in pass situations. As well as he's been playing he's still a liability in the run game and the Jags can run the ball. Quote

Lost Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Von seemed to think he had insider information that he was going to play on Sunday so I'm okay with this. He said on his Voncast this week that he's 90% sure fans will see him play in London. 1 Quote

RunTheBall Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 (edited) Yikes, I had it wrong I figured it was just a bruise and they were resting him.  Guess having a 300 pound DT slam their knee down on your foot does some damage. I think we are fotunate he didn’t break a metatarsal and be out for 8 weeks.  Rest him up. Maybe throw in a few Von snaps but hopefully AJE/Kingsley can step up a bit.  I think you attack Lawrence the same way as Tua - pressure up the middle, get him off his spot, DE’s play contain to keep him from running.   Edited October 6, 2023 by RunTheBall Quote
