Off topic since it's a 2025 show in my area but Zakk Sabbath looks savage.

I saw  a half hour instrumental set by Zakk Wylde a few years ago a third of which was devoted to a crushing/shredding version of  N.I.B.  Checked out the Zakk Sabbath setlist from June and it's right up my alley with some deeper tracks in favor of Paranoid or Iron Man.

Gojira was lively and amazing.  Hard to believe they're 50.

Korn was intense for how old everyone was ... Mostly under 25 or over 40. Jonathans voice sounded amazing. Evidently I didn't look like I was having fun and he pointed at me and made the smile expression pulling his cheeks up. Later when I was singing he sang to me and gave point to me because I was engaged.  We were in the pit front and just off center.

I went to see Jane's Addiction and Love & Rockets in Boston 9/13. I left before the show ended because I had an early day Saturday and it's an hour drive home. I looked up the setlist and there were only a few more songs to go.

Two days later I see this 😂

saw Jeff Lynne's ELO on saturday night.  What a great show, played everything you could hope for.  Sounded great, the band was incredible and the show was simple and to the point.  probably not a lot of dates left on the tour, but if you get a chance to see the tour, do it.

going to see My Morning Jacket/Nathaniel Raetliff on Thursday, huge MMJ fan so can't wait

Frigging Ween canceled their tour, was looking forward to that this weekend

Saw CKY and Crobot last Tuesday, and on Thursday saw Clutch/Rival Sons/Fu Manchu.

Crobot was excellent and stole the show. CKY needs their singer back. Chad Ginsburg sings for them now and it sounded like a drunk bar singer. Not good.

Clutch was their typical amazing self. They played their entire Blast Tyrant cd which was fun. Closed with two off their self titled CD.

Rival Sons were really great and made me a fan.

Fu Manchu brought the heat. They were excellent.

Our daughter got the wife and i tix to see Peter Frampton at Seneca Niagara Casino last weekend. He had to sit during the show due to disease affecting his leg muscles, but he and the band put on an excellent show - played and sounded awesome still after all these years

I have seen weird al twice and he is really one of the best shows i have ever seen.  His band is top notch and so damn tight, the stage show is awesome and so much fun.  My only complaint about next years tour is puddles the clown opening up.  Something about him really just grates on my every nerve.

He took Fishbone's place opening for Coheed and Cambria / Primus and I expected to hate him and I actually found him mildly entertaining in the small dose I got.

Saw BEAT Tour last night with Adrien Belew, Tony Levin, Steve Vai and Danny Carey at the Keswick Theater in Glenside PA, incredible night of King Crimson Music from the Discipline, Three Of A Perfect Pair and Beat albums.  Unbelievable display of musicianship

Next Wednesday David Byrne will visit Texas Tech to moderate a discussion about wind power. Well, I do not expect him to sing "Psycho Killer" or "Life During Wartime". Still, I am very much looking forward to see and experience him in person.

Anyone going to see David Gilmore at MSG in November?   Tickets are pretty expensive.

We are going on Nov 6. Picked up tix in May. Live in VA and taking Amtrak and spending the night close to the garden. Looking forward to this show.

Seeing Bare Naked Ladies tonight in Columbia.

Off topic, but remember when concerts NEVER started on time? You'd be lucky if an 8:00 PM show at the Aud would start by 8:30. I swear, you could've set your watch by when the lights went out for Rooney to open the ELO Show on Saturday.

Rush, whom I've probably seen more than anyone, was really good at this after their comeback. Dates back in the 80's and 90's are a bit more foggy.

Has this been your experience? Or am I just going to see the anal-retentive bands?
