Kmart128 Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 I think this probably means Ingram will be signed to active roster 1 1 Quote

He's been on rosters for a few games for Tampa Bay and Cleveland (2 years) but mostly on practice squad. Panthers picked him up as a futures signing in January and waived him at the end of camp. There is really no coaching familiarity with this player. He was not in Carolina when anyone now with the Bills was. This is purely about Beane's pro-personnel guys hunting the league looking for the best unsigned guy they can put on the practice squad, with PS backup Ja'Marcus Ingram suffering a leg injury during practice (he walked off); Tre' White on IR, and Benford day-to-day with a shoulder. Jeesh, crazy the Bills signed a PS DB who played for Tampa and the Browns, and was only on the Panthers roster during the off-season? C'Mon Man. People are looking overtime for Carolina Connections they can froth about I'm more worried he was in the Browns locker room for 2 years. I don't think that's a winning environment. I was only making a joke. Truth be told with the way bottom of the roster guys float around the league it may be harder to find someone who didn't play at one time or another for certain teams. The fact that almost everytime we sign a player with ties to Carolina the PR dept for the Bills seems to choose a photo of that player in a Panther uniform no matter how long (or short) they were there, is, however comical. 1 1 2 Quote

They're notorious for the 'bait and switch'. You walk in to buy the $129.95 queen set, walk out owning the $795.95 plush top that's really the $129.95 set with a different cover. 3 Quote

Im sure this guy will fill Ingrams role in practice. Ingram will be added to 53 but be inactive like Elam was. And Elam, Jackson, and Benford will be our outside CBs Quote

Herb Miller hit that 300 game last year. Took up bowling a lot more after he retired from the Goodyear plant and sold his lake house.
