Invented in Scotland so very British.

My wife & I are having game day meals dependent on where the game is played. When Buffalo is at home, we usually have Buffalo shrimp. (We had them for the Jets game. Maybe that's why we lost?)  During the Commanders game, we had crabcakes.  Since this game is in London and is early, we're going with an almost proper English breakfast. (No black pudding.)

What are you having?

Get rid of those gammy mushrooms, add some hash browns and that's spot on.

I don't even know what that is.

Always reminded me of an English muffin that hasn't gotten stale yet.  You can actually eat one of the sumbiches without toasting it. 😁

Mmm, crumpets. Cousin to English Muffin. Great with a good fruit preserve or marmalade.

What I like about English breakfast: beans, though I spice up my beans more than the Heinz from a can.

Awesome idea!

Do you have black pudding/blood sausage on the menu or are you skipping that???

Living just outside Pittsburgh as a former Brit, it’s absolutely weird that Heinz is headquartered here but you can’t get the same “Heinz Baked Beans” that are standard in the UK.

Absolutely essential for an English Brekkie.

Skipping the black pudding.  No desire to try it and have no access to it here in SW Washington.

Crumpets with clotted cream, and a cupa, then a toast with a Pimms cup, and then onto the room temperature Ales.

Crumpets with butter and then cheese on top used to be my go to hangover food.
