Maybe dems will follow suite at some point but the bernie ship and any other movement sailed long ago. I heard a moderate R rep (female) on NPR today saying Gaetz is Biden's favorite congressman. She made exactly the point above: nothing is going to get done for many weeks. Straight talking, calling out all the creeps and turncoats (including not just Gaetz, but also Nancy!) who left him twisting in the wind.
