I would think they would try to swing a trade for David Mills, shouldn’t cost much and he’s definitely capable of winning.  Wilson is awful.  I thought he was looking a little better in preseason, now that the real bullets are flying, it’s ugly.  I’m glad they took themselves out this year, it makes life easier… still absolutely pathetic the Bills lost to them, but it is what it is.

Wentz or Ryan would have been better options, but they have to do something. They will lose the team if Wilson continues as the starting QB.

He's a giant douche, but I would have probably taken a chance on Wentz if I were them.  I think Ryan is done...he looked truly awful his last two seasons

Honestly, which Trevor will play better this year?  Siemian or Lawrence?

This is sad but it may be true.  Three games into the season, it looks like the wheels have fallen off, and Lawrence has been part of the problem.

Siemian is a metaphor for rag arm journeyman JAG backup qb.

Better a rag arm than a mushy brain like Wilson.

10-12 guys who are great at the NFL level...

Simian can go up against the best college team in the world and drop 60 on them tomorrow

The talent Gap from an NFL quarterback to even a division 1 starter is insane ...

He's not a ***** QB lol he's just not good enough to start for the NFL or be a primary backup

That's why there's 40 professional basketball leagues around the world..  you might not be a good enough point guard for the NBA but you can be a professional PG

That pro point guard in Turkey doesn't suck.. he's actually great.. just not good enough for the league

That's how I view all these bottom roster quarterbacks.. and QB3s

They are still better than 99% of the quarterbacks in the world... Which is an accomplishment.. they just aren't good enough to consistently crack the NFL

Sam castronova from williamsville South... Division 3 quarterback.. impressive arm.. team scored 55 a game in college .. got some invites to NFL camps.. but never even made a roster

He still throws locally trying to prolong his career ... And his arm is insane... Like when you see it up close you're like damn

The way the ball spins... Even if you didn't know who he was you'd be like he has to be a pro... And he could barely get a try out to a mini camp

It's because being an NFL quarterback is the hardest job in sports..  and even the 4th stringer does have immense talent ..  even if it doesn't hold up in the NFL

Excellent perspective on QBs!

Does it, though?

If the Jets end up with a top 10 pick, the wise choice would be to select a QB in a draft that is supposed to be QB heavy. And we all saw how that worked with Aaron in Green Bay.

Sinking that pick into anything but the QB of the future and depending on a QB that will be 40, was showing signs of decline, coming off a MAJOR injury and wouldn't have played a game of competitive football in over a year and a half isn't a great spot to be in IMO. Though, it is the Jets so I can see it.

Hope they get a rookie qb in draft.  If the past 2 they picked I won't even worry they will doom a promising qb.  Instead it might be fun watching Aaron and his it's not my job to train a rookie qb as his ego that they even consider not letting him dictate when he will retire gets him tearapart that team internally. I'll enjoy watching them implode and this makes sauce escaping that tire fire first chance he gets  which is fine by me.  Heck he may even sign with bills.

I suspect Joe Douglas is probably thinking that this is an opportunity to throw Saleh in the deep end and see if he can swim...........and if not they can move on from Saleh and Hackett and maybe get a Ben Johnson as HC and be in position to get the 2nd-3rd best QB in a very good QB draft.......either by being well within the top 10 or being close enough to trade a surplus piece like Will McDonald to move up close enough to get a Drake Maye or the like.

Best way to salvage this season is to turn it into getting the best young offensive mind at HC and another crack at a young franchise QB.

As for Aaron Rodgers..........I suspect he will get over Hackett getting hacked off if they get a guy like Ben Johnson.

Colin Kaepernick applied for the job. Honestly, it's a very well constructed letter. But 6 years inactive is a loooooooong time.

Why have J. Cole, a rapper, to be the cosign for your attempt at a return? Logic would dictate a decent, well known, well respected sports agent or agency to be the one to make it public knowledge… right?

My guess would be the decent well known respected sports agencies aren't urging their client's case in the media

I get that but it’s all about the $. Something Kaepernick made a large chunk from with Nike. Someone would do it for a payday.

The Jets should’ve retained Mike White or went after a dude like Garappolo or even Gardner Minshew in the off-season. Going into the regular season w/ a 39 year old QB and Zach Wilson as your backup was extremely stupid and the Jets deserve everything coming to them. What a waste of a great defense. Now they are forced to go through the QB scrap heap and no doubt Siemian will be starting sooner rather than later. I’m happy. One less AFCE rival to worry about. Miami will always be Buffalo’s true rival.

Mike White or Minshew over Aaron Rodgers?

Oh yeah,...Definitely!!
