Calling the latter racism is just trumpian white supremacist logic from the 70's. No democrat blacks despise white people, it's not the other way around. And it's got a lot to do with a cash grab. Inherent racism..is not forcing unqualified people into positions they aren't qualified for, in fact it's exactly the opposite. 1
SCBills Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Dems going all in on attacking DOGE is wild. Cant wait to see them line up behind “large scale social deception” payments to Reuters.

Another poster who doesn’t understand the difference between a media outlet and an analysis product, and has thus been programmed to be mad. Sad!

Sad! And here you are, right on cue. This is taxpayer money. Imagine a government that is transparent about where our money goes.. And you’re free to be in favor of these expenditures. Most of us aren’t.

The government has always published where the money goes. Read the budget. USAID did too. You were programmed in about two days. I am opposed to giving Elon more money.

Lectures on programming Finishes point by saying he’s opposed to giving Elon more money What money is he getting by doing this? Thats simply a Dem talking point not based in reality. Im sure you’ll counter with some nonsense about SpaceX or Tesla, but that’s unrelated to what we discussing. Its actually a good thing to be transparent about our tax dollars and then cut waste. What a bizarre hill to die on… 1 1

They are removing useful programs and replacing them with stuff like this. The budget is never going to be balanced.

Do you not think it’s a conflict of interest for Mr. DOGE to be taking these contracts whilst working for Trump? He’s pushing for it because Tesla is failing epically in Europe.

If we could get to the source of who finalized the deal, then we'd know all we need to know. Guess who has the ability to go into the federal database, and exonerate himself anytime he wishes?

The easy choice is transparency, but for some reason, I don't think he will make the easy choice. His fanbois will cheer that he didn't cave just for the sake of not caving. Maybe Musk can thank them for giving him plausible deniability with a free red checkmark. We'll call it the reichmark.

How bad would it hurt if you found out Elon was corrupt? Edited February 13 by daz28

You're saying the guy who finalized the deal did it all for Musk? Interesting theory...

Second, who approved it, and how in the FFFF did Elon Musk not know about it. Third, who deleted Tesla from the document. Of course they're now saying it won't be honored, but we'll never know if it was because Don's "not an EV guy", especially if we get no details. Won't be expecting the press to be able to find out either. He hates them and leakers.

How ironic to complain about government transparency while ignoring that the current administration fired the director of the Office of Government Ethics, the Office of Special Counsel, and 19 inspectors general. 8 hours ago, SCBills said: nonsense about SpaceX or Tesla This is nonsense. There are specific laws governing this situation (18 U.S.C. § 208). Imagine if George Soros were given this same level of access to our financial and digital infrastructure.
