What’s the gimmick with McDaniel’s offense?

Would it be Tua's timing throws? You throw that off and make him go through his reads and you make that offense far more mortal.

I am not big into checking other fans message boards. if I do it is generally a sign of respect and a solid match up. I do keep up on Reddit, but reddit sucks for what I like about sports conversations.

I checked out Finhaven and it is weird. I have never seen anywhere Milano talked about as a dirty player. Am I crazy on that?

The whole thing is weirdly aggressive.

The whole team is pretty scummy. Remember scumbag Allen going after Wilkins only to wuss out and have OL jump in when Wilkins turned around to face the cheap shotter?

I know this is not " PC" but I am more of a biblical eye for an eye sort.

With that being said, I would not at all be disturbed if some of our players have come to a tacit understanding that if Tua goes down, Allen goes down!

I suspect any cheap shots will be dealt with immediately and harshly. As in bench clearing....

A team is 3-0, won their last game by 50 freakin points and scored 70, are underdogs??

Only in the NFL.

The oddsmakers are considering a lot more than a single game's results.

And they have a pretty good track-record.

Yes, the Dolphins scored a whopping 70 and nearly broke the NFL record for points in a game.  And they deserve all the credit in the world...

But the Broncos defense they assaulted also let up 35 points just a week earlier to the to the Commanders.  And those same Commanders barely managed a field goal going against the Bills defense.  Not to mention, Sean McDermott's scheme is built to stop the big-play and force opponents to work underneath.

Looking at recent history, the Bills offense and Josh Allen have also done VERY well against the Dolphins defense.  This is a trend going back 3-4 seasons now (playing at least twice per season).  In the few exceptions where they didn't put up 30+ points, the Bills still moved the ball easily and just struggled to put the ball in the endzone.

The key to this game is going to be Red Zone efficiency.

Both teams are going to allow yards and give up some drives, but then try to clamp down in the Red Zone.

I know Jets fans also don't like Milano because he folded Mike white like a lawn chair, and I think there's been some similar sentiment from other fanbases because he's such a hard hitting LB. Dolphins fans are rather sad though that hit on Tua by Milano was so soft, if the guy had any idea how to fall at all, why he took those jujitsu classes, he'd have been fine.

And they have no credibility talking about things between Allen and Wilkins with the ***** he's pulled in the pile.

This has been a thing across their fanbase on any media from Milano being the one who knocked Tua out since he was the one who contacted Tua, making him fall to the ground and get concussed. Somehow that is Milano being a cheap, dirty player.

They're just grasping at anything to hate us on, and it would normally be laughable. But you are right, it has gotten weirdly aggressive and hostile.

The dolphins have been our b**** for 5+ years now. They are a desperate fanbase.

I'm sure we all made up things to hate about the Patriots during their dynasty.

Whatever makes them feel better.

Josh Allen be like...

Bills fans to the media: "Cletus! Don't you dare say something like that about the Bills!"

Josh:  "Now hold on...You don't have to protect me from Cletus..."

"C'mon Cletus...C'mon...C'mon over here. You don't have to do all that talking from over there... You'll walk over here, but you'll be limping back. Don't let the Jets loss fool ya...I ain't no easy win."

Bills HC Explains Moment of Pride in QB Josh Allen: ‘My Eyes Lit Up’

Josh-Allen-e1695762252466.jpg?quality=15

Sean McDermott ‘Proud’ of Josh Allen

Through his first five years in the NFL, Allen has gained a reputation for fighting for yards on both designed runs and scrambles, often inviting contact with defenders and sometimes outright running through them.

That wasn’t the case on Sunday, with Allen sliding at the end of runs to avoid contact with defenders. After the game, McDermott said he was overcome with pride in watching Allen and the maturity he showed on the field.

“Well, my eyes lit up too,” McDermott said, via NewYorkUpstate.com. “I was very proud of him for doing that. He’s growing and that’s what you gotta do – you gotta play a certain way without losing your identity. It showed discipline.”

Allen mentioned the tactic as well, saying after the game that he earned some money by betting with teammates who didn’t think he had it in him to slide rather than push through for extra yardage.

“There’s a few people on the team that owe me some money for sliding,” Allen joked. “So just a little bit of incentive there.”

If that shove was dirty and caused a concussion imagine how pissed they are going to be when they find out that their coaching and medical staff sent him back out there!

RIP McDaniels. Time to rebuild I guess...

Jets fans and Miami fans think this because he has injured both of their QBs. The Tua push was technically late and so it was a foul, even if it wasn't "dirty." Dirty is when the Miami receiver ends our safety's career

Only in the NFL.

This isn't surprising.  Until Tua proves it over a full season, Josh is considered the better QB.  As of right now, 32 out of 32 GMs would pick Josh over Tua.

So we have the better QB playing at home complemented by a defense that's been playing well.   It would be insane for Buffalo not to be favorites.

A decent amount of sportsbooks have already flipped this back to Buf -3 flat.  (As mentioned before, Circa being at 3 was a leading indicator).  So much for this line going to pick'em.

No, don’t ignore it at all. Miami has proven that they are probably the most explosive offenses in the entire league. I don’t care who you’re playing you put up 70.

Miami is a legit threat and this game is going to be a dogfight

Tackling, tackling, and more tackling...

Their receivers get much of the press, but their running game powered that juggernaut last Sunday keeping the chains moving when they were not ripping off huge gains and TDs. They have so much team speed, that the first guy needs to either wrap up cleanly or hold on till help arrives. An efficient offense from the Bills that takes time off the clock and if our defense can force a few punts, I think the Dolphins offense could get frustrated pretty quickly and that usually leads to mistakes.

Success has come by the bucket load for that unit - not taking anything away from them, but thinking the Bills defense can put up a tiny bit more fight than Denver's 1/2 inch speed bump defense.
