Whkfc Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 I think he has made more plays thab Edmumds already. Its funny i texted the titlle of the thread to buddy as soon ad i hit send he had that pick. 3 1 1 1
strive_for_five_guy Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Gotta change your title thread. Bernard IS a player. 1
Cray51 Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Incredibly instinctive, and they are using his speed to cover zone holes. We may have gotten something here with him and Milano 1 1
peterpan Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 No way Edmonds makes those plays. Especially the sack 1
Warcodered Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Bernard keeps this up today and Kyle Brandt is going to lose his mind on Monday. 1

LABILLBACKER Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 All I can say is WOW.....just wow, well done McD!
Buffalo716 Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 People don't realize how much coaching a player up goes into there weekly success Edmunds and milano were getting all the big 1 on 1 time with the LBr coach .. which helps with develolment and getting up to speed quicker You certainly can't judge a 3rd round pick who isn't getting the daily reps to develop because he is a backup You need 1 on 1 time which only the starters get the majority
BeastMaster Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 I won't pretend that I knew Bernard would be good, but I knew Edmunds was an athlete with no instincts that was very replaceable. 1
Royale with Cheese Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 I probably read a thousand times on here he was a wasted pick and another example of Beane sucking. I would say we don’t know what kind of player he is since he has played very little. But of course, those comments were met with people adamant he was a bust. Kirskey staying on PS was a very telling sign McDermott was at least comfortable with Bernard.

Kirskey staying on PS was a very telling sign McDermott was at least comfortable with Bernard. It is a sign that there was no one they wanted to take chance of releasing (i.e. S Damar Hamlin, CB Kaiir Elam, G Germain Ifedi, T Alec Anderson) and being picked up by another team. It would also cost them salary cap space which is low in case of injuries.
