Yea this is where I am. I think the names on paper are waaaay better than the reality on the field which the past couple of years just hasn't been good. Quote

Heck Josh had to play last year with two guys who were retired at the start of the season. QBs need talent around them see Jalen Hurts but if you look at the salary structure with The Chargers they pay their guys like they are elite. It all comes down to how you succeed in the draft. The teams that win the SB continue to load through the draft so that they don't have to pay big money for above average players. The Bills are paying big numbers for above average players such Dawkins ($14M), Knox ($6.5M), Morse ($11M) and this year to Hyde ($10.5M) and Taron Johnson ($7M). - All numbers are their cap hits for 2023. They will have to do a salary cap purge next year to clean this mess. Their issue is that their backups or their draft picks have not worked out....they have missed badly on their 2nd and 3rd round picks. Quote
Playoffs? Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 For any of the Tua-Herbert comparisons, Herbert has the worst coaching in the NFL. Tua has literally the best offensive system that any QB could ask for. Swap teams, and Herbert tears it up in Miami while Tua is being run out of Los Angeles. Tua’s job is pretty easy. Sorry Tua. It covers for many ills. But Keenan Allen isn't what he was, Mike Williams is a nice player but not a separator. They check down a lot to a back who as a result has seen his yards per catch plummet.
