It makes sense to me.  Throwing with the wind the ball can “float” or sail…into the wind you’re cutting through it.

People just don’t realize that upstate has a sh#t ton of weather. I am here in VA and this Tropical Storm is light sprinkles and 8mph. Any given Saturday in Apr May Nov in Buffalo. Yes, ocean front…but 99% elsewhere is fine and better than Erie County

As a first-time OC during the 2022 NFL season, Dorsey put together an impressive playbook that many believed borrowed heavily from Brian Daboll.

Don't care too much about the wind. Would prefer no rain. But Bills oline probably has a better chance run blocking against their Dline than pass blocking. 

This would be a perfect week for 175 yards passing and our backs combining for 200 yards rushing.

Let Gilliam earn his roster spot this week. Use an extra OT for heavy sets. Let's not pretend Knox or Kincaid are even average blockers. Pound the rock early and often.

After last week’s performance I feel pretty good about playing in bad weather. I feel like our three headed monster in the backfield was formed for games like this.  Good game to get some designed runs for Josh mixed in as well.

Knox is an excellent blocker.  But I agree with the game plan.  I think the Bills’ D will keep Washington from putting up a ton of points.

This is almost deserving of its own thread... or the resurrection of an earlier Dorsey thread.

 

Bottom line, many people make judgements and then have difficulty changing their minds.

 

It's often the case that accomplished professionals change and grow but the perception of them doesn't.

Looking at WTF Snap counts, seems like they play a lot of dime.  3 CB's and 3 Safeties are in their top 11 defensive snap counts.

 

Wonder how Dorsey will attack that.  Seems they want to pressure the passer and blanket the receivers.  Big question is can we run against that front?

From what Cosell said on OBL, I believe they normally run a big nickel.

The Redskin/WTF/Commando's have some good weapons at RB and WR but a 2nd year QB. I think getting after him early and often and getting him to make mistakes will be what McD tries to do.

 

On Defense they have a great line, a lack of LBs and play a heavy nickle or dime (much like us) ... Our Offense shouldn't find much different from what they practice against daily.

 

In good weather i see the Bills winning by two + scores, if the weather is bad I see a close lower scored game with neither team scoring 20 points. Looking forward to Kyle Allen running the victory formation tomorrow.

I think the Bills will win, but when I go to the casino tonight, I will likely put money on the Commanders, and take the points…I predict a low, one score difference game, in bad weather- similar to the Ravens game last year…👍

I would expect to see a lot of action in the short passing game, too, especially to the backs and TEs. Neutralize the rush, attack the short middle of the field. Run it when the line starts looking for the quick pass.

 

Weather right now looking like rain but not a lot of wind.

Josh is going to continue to work those short area passes, getting the ball out quick and really frustrating the Washington defense. The difference between Wash and NYJ is they don't have as talented defensive backs. Feeling pretty confident that Josh is going to carve them up.

 

I like their QB. He's showing some promise but now he's going up against a really good defense. Bills are going to win this game handily.

The Dorsey haters won’t look at facts.  13-3, almost the same production out of Allen, Allen playing through an injured elbow.

 

We destroyed the Raiders.  I expect us to beat the spread against the Redskins.
