In the stadium it looked like Harris never touched the ground on his run to the goal line. Looked like the ball should have been spotted inside the 1. However they spotted it almost a yard back. 

I know in the whole scheme of things it doesn't matter much, but I thought McDermott should have challenged that instead of using last time out. The spot effectively took out a QB sneak as an option. 

What did they say or see on TV?

You're correct he should have been down like an inch before goal line.

I would not waste a challenge on that, personally. You are saying they weren't willing to sneak it from the 1 yard line? I bet they would have if they wanted to.

Except he used his final timeout so he couldn't use a challenge in the future.
