GrimboG Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 What a few weeks he's had. Absolutely superb. After being injured pre season too! The dude seems to have instincts 2 1 Quote
Aussie Joe Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 (edited) I don’t remember anyone ( including me) liking this pick… Maybe a bit of credit for Beane? Edited September 24, 2023 by Aussie Joe 3 1 Quote

Learning by example usually shortens learning curve if the player actually loves to learn and when you don't have the freak physical measurements of an Edmunds you need Tobe improving by learning. BuffaloTX Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Bernard autographs will go up in value for sure. Quote

HappyDays Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 (edited) I can't remember the last time a player was completely counted out after his rookie season and then suddenly transformed into a true game changing player like this in his second season. The Bills needed something like this to happen to keep our young pipeline going strong and keep our window open. It's a huge development. Edited September 24, 2023 by HappyDays 2 8 1 1 Quote
VW82 Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 He looks so small out there but so far he has a nose for the ball. Good instincts. He plays fast. He makes big plays. Clearly, too many were prematurely passing judgement. Quote
Eastport bills Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 If this is any indication of how Bernard will play MLB, our defense will be scary good. His speed, ball hawking and ability to pressure the QB is better than anyone expected. Let’s hope he stays healthy because he’s kind of slight. 1 1 Quote

No I think Josh has to ďevelop more trust in the other guys. He's been so used to relying on his favorites at any given time. He has that prom photo connection with Knox he needs to add Kincaid to his dance card.. Then Josh will be a real Major V Playa. Diggs can help Josh with advice on how to juggle multiple dates in a single day (game) if the rumors are true of his recent Valentine in Buffalo. Quote

Brand J Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 I laughed when the excuses for Edmunds not making any plays was that “he had too much on his plate/it’s not his job/he doesn’t play the same position as Milano, doesn’t have the same freedom to roam.” No, he just wasn’t a playmaker. Bernard undoubtedly has a nose for the football and is making the plays our last LB could not. 3 1 1 Quote

It was so much fun watching a MLB fly over the field and making impact plays Quote
Blank Stare Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 I’ll admit, while I wasn’t a TB hater, I wasn’t expecting this. His injury in the preseason really contributed to my uneasiness about him. That said, he started one game last year as a rookie and a lot of people were done with him. Ridiculous to think he couldn’t improve after one rough outing. Quote
