I'm still not sure why Dorian Williams isn't being given much of a chance. I'll take his mistakes for long-term growth and a bigger upside, over what we know we're getting w/ Dodson. Elam was bad in London, but that was such a weird game. I thought he improved a lot the next week, and now he's not playing. Expand In fairness to Dodson (who was terrible in London) he actually played pretty well when he came in on Sunday. I get the "rather take my lumps with the higher upside rookie" point. I agree. But the Bills with the injuries they have on that side of the ball clearly feel like they can't afford too many learning on the job guys. 1 Quote

BananaB Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 He’s in McDs doghouse. They all are pretty bad. Dane was getting hosed by Zay before he got hurt. Benford might make one play a game but gets called for PI 2 or 3 times. Quote
LyndonvilleBill Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 (edited) I put Elam on the AJ Epenesa track (or at least McD is). Bring him in, try to change him for a couple of years and then realize, you should have just left him alone and play to his strengths. Maybe he'll be better next year.😁 Edited October 25, 2023 by LyndonvilleBill 1 1 Quote

Captain_Quint Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Leodis McKelvin had more football sense than Elam has. At least he could return kicks (and sometimes not fumble them). Quote
