Einstein Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Yeah, I think it’s obvious that Elam is a bust as far as this team is considered. Maybe he can resurrect his career with a team that runs more man. 2 Quote

Dr. Who Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Starting a thread for those unable to post in Italian Bills' positivity thread? How very decent of you. 1 2 1 Quote

Process Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 I hope Kincaid /Torrence are a sign that Beane learned his lesson from the boogie/aj/elam picks. Don't draft defense just for the hell of it. Let Sean get his fix another way. 1 2 2 Quote
HOUSE Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 This is why I don't buy season tickets We sit our #1 draft picks, than lose games 4 1 Quote
Low Positive Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 It's really a numbers game, more than anything else. Benford beat him in camp and played well last week Dane Jackson is the veteran 3rd CB Cam Lewis offers positional flexibility because he can play CB and safety in a pinch Elam doesn't play special teams But it is at this point a really poor draft pick 5 4 Quote

GunnerBill and I have debated whether the Bills would have taken McDuffie had the Chiefs not jumped us, but regardless, it’s a bad look. So, either: 1) Beane wanted McDuffie but let the Chiefs outmaneuver him. or 2) Beane had Elam in front of McDuffie on the draft board, which is probably even worse. 1 2 Quote
benderbender Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 He needs to study Sauce's ability to have officials throw flags for OPI and ignore his Deshaun Watson hands 3 Quote
wppete Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Wow. Fells like he could be a trade candidate this year. Disappointing. 1 Quote
Teddy KGB Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 At least Beane looks cool in a suit. Gonna need Milano and JA to save his job, way too many misses piling up. 1 3 1 Quote

Then the officials would like him. Either that or Jack. If they were still making westerns, he could try that. 1 Quote

Number 2 would definitely be worse! 😂 I agree with trading him even though CB depth is always needed. But I’d only do a player for player deal. 1st round picks aren’t supposed to be depth, maybe he can become another team’s Jerry Hughes equivalent, or we can luck into another. 2 Quote

Lots of former first rounders that may not have secured a full time starting job have some trade value. Now, if their team puts them in street clothes every week, that goes down. If Elam was rotating in on defense, some team may think he’s a fit for their press scheme and give up a fourth. 1 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Likely won't change until there's an injury ahead of him. They played Benford 100% of the snaps last week and seemed very happy with how he played. Jackson is next man up. Not ideal for a former 1st rounder, but it's good we have other dudes that stepped up. 3 Quote
