Tasker mentioned the other day that because of Josh's ability to run opposing defenses are attuned to not turning their back on the line of scrimmage and moving toawrd the line quickly.  That's why screens etc don't work well for them. The defense is right there.

Medium tempo throws behind those guys is what to me is lacking.  Not swing and screens and not deep.  In the gap between!

These first two games Flores and Hoodie have seen something on Hurts were he just doesn’t look the same.

Fortunately the Eagles have a good oline to bail him out.

They also don't work well when Allen doesn't throw the ball to wide open receivers in the flats and goes deep instead.  

 

Just sayin'.  

 

There's no way that screens are perpetually taken away.  Appreciate Tasker's view, but if that's the case then there are other weaknesses of opposing D's that can and should be taken advantage of.
