The first 6 games of last year 17 TD’s and 4 INT’s.

What gives?

I know some here think we will be fine but….will we? Will we with such poor QB play?

Is Josh just not a very smart QB? I mean, he said he had to take better care of his body and the ball this past off-season. He did neither in his first meaningful game. And showed nothing of the sort that he gave a crap about doing either of those things.

Seriously, what in hell is going on with Josh Allen?

He’s trying to live up to the hype of being a “top 3 qb” in the NFL instead of focusing on wins. I know that sounds simple, but I honestly think that is what’s going on. The media hype and love went to his head and he tries to do way too much every play. He wants to play like Superman instead of say a Kirk Cousins type player.  Obviously Allen is a better athlete than Cousins but he needs to stop thinking he can overpower everyone with his body and start just trying to beat people with his brain instead. Just get the wins, stop worrying about the stats. Can he do that? I guess we get to find out over the next 7-10 years. So far it’s not looking promising.

Josh needs to prepare more. That story came out that josh relies mostly on athleticism and doesn’t study much. That’s disappointing. It clearly hasn’t worked for him yet. Needs to change his preparation habits

Completely agree. This is a huge problem.

Josh Allen is OK with winning football games so long as he is the primary reason the game is won. Any DC capable of baiting Allen into hero ball will find a willing victim. Until Allen can properly address this part of his personality, the Bills are in trouble and they certainly aren’t realistic Super Bowl contenders.

Josh can and should be great. Dammit man, learn this lesson! Before it’s too late!!!

Josh thinks he's on Mahomes level.  @4merper4mer had this take first, but he thinks he's arrived.

Problem is, he hasn't.  Mahomes walked the walked first. He had that playoff game and beat him in the regular season and he thinks he's all that.

Eli beat Brady twice in the biggest stage and had that "aw shucks" demeanor still. Josh is walking around like he's a superstar with a solitary AFCCG blowout loss under his belt.

I wasn’t worried about him until he tried to leap 7 yards for the first through 3 Jets defenders.

Oh I forgot about that.

There was no story. That was some idiot on TV saying random things.

Until Allen learns to play the QB position correctly he is not likely to win a championship, which sucks for us fans, the parts of his game he does not excel at, ( namely short passes) are why he will be good but not great as a QB. It would be nice if he would learn to do that.

It seems to be correct analysis though. It does seem like Allen is purely relying on his arm talent and legs. Not his brain. He reminds me so much of a slightly better Cam Newton. Newton did not have football IQ and just relied on his talents until injuries derailed those athletic traits.

Josh either needs to hit the books hard, or start consult other game managers.

That was a really strange play.  There was no way it was going to achieve a first down and there was no reason to do the jump, period.

He should have just gone down; fold up, like Diggs loves to do; avoids injury.

And after he has publicly said he will protect his body and play smarter, etc...

🤷‍♂️

I thought these Cam Newton takes were insane a year ago.  Now they are starting to ring true. 😕
