Big Blitz Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 You watched Josh be one of the 2 best QBs in the league for 3 and a half years - it took the 2nd half of last season by then you could say this was Dorsey’s offense. And Josh is a turnover machine. We can’t beat great defenses - the way Frazier couldn’t beat great offenses in January. But we did for 3 years. 41 passes tonight is unacceptable. 4 turnovers by Josh - to my knowledge not since 2019. Josh is to blame for some decisions - 2 INTs deep in Jets territory ok but the 3rd pick is all on Dorsey because things were snowballing and a run should have been called. You still had the lead. 1 2 Quote
K D Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Dorsey should be a man and resign. Get a veteran play caller. We heard all summer how Kincaid and Harty were the missing pieces to his offense. He doesn't know what his offense is. There's no originality, creativity, or even a recognizable game plan. It's a mess. Time to make a change 5 2 1 3 Quote

Josh has been a TO machine his whole career even with Daboll. Stop blaming Dorsey. He didn’t throw two deep balls into double coverage. He didn’t miss Kincaid wide open on the Davis pick 1 Quote
May Day 10 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Plays looked telegraphed and predictable. It didn't help that Allen's turnovers lit the game on fire though 1 5 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Fire his a$$....they could have easily found a proven OC in the offseason who would love to work with the talent we have. That's on McDermott and Beane. Quote
PrimeTime101 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 How many 3rd and 5-11 and all our routs are 15+ yards down the field. Kincaid AND Knox proved they can bounce off people.. Repeat of last season and not using the rookie properly. 4 1 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 I want to blame it all on Dorsey, but I can't. I don't know if Josh (on a lot of passing plays) actually delivers the ball to the 1st play called read. This offense needs to learn to consistently complete quick passes. 1 1 Quote

And he needs to grow up and listen/learn. 2 3 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted September 12, 2023 Author Posted September 12, 2023 Right here. That was the game and the dumbest freaking call in Dorsey’s tenure. The Jets were sitting back 7. The box wasn’t even expecting a run. Andy Reid runs McKinnon or some jag there for 7 yards. 1 3 Quote
Aussie Joe Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Didn’t like Daboll when he was here either if I recall Quote
TurfToeJam Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 I didn't see any resemblance of an offensive game plan. Dabol would at least have seen Allen struggle and dial up some jet sweeps or presnap motions or fancy screen plays to help josh. Dorsey is in over his head here. 3 3 1 Quote
Roundybout Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 I’ve said it since like Week 14 last year. he’s a loser. he has no idea what he’s doing, he’s a 10 year old spamming “Ask Madden” in a video game. it was a nice idea to get him, but he has proven he can’t do it. end the experiment. 1 1 Quote
pigpen65 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Dorsey is in over his head. D coordinators are taking advantage of him. He never should have made it through the offseason after the end of last season. 1 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Does MCD have the stones to fire Dorsey and promote Joe Brady? I was on board for giving dorsey a 2nd season. But after tonight it looks like he learned nothing Quote

We were 7-6 through 13 games Daboll’s last season here and there were a fair share of offensive stinkers. I’m not as down on the Davis pick but there were plenty of horrible turnovers to choose from. That was the right read but he missed the throw a bit and Davis ran a terrible route Quote
VaMilBill Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 (edited) Sadly, this is what is going to sink McDs ship. Sticking with Frazier after 13 seconds was a mistake. But sticking with Dorsey was an even bigger one. everyone could see last year how vanilla our offense was. No adjustments. No creativity. our defense and offense have both regressed largely due to the coaches ability to evolve. im grateful for all McD has done. But it’s time for regime change. It’s stale.
