Expectations have gotten too high. We're playing probably the best defense in the league and they dropping 7 on every play. Our route concepts aren't great. The OL is giving up pressure. We're in the middle of a slog fest. Allen's performance isn't going to look pretty.

17/21 for 133 yards,  1 td and 1 int against one of the best pass defenses they're likely to face.  And you have to expect some rust in week 1.  It could be a LOT worse.

   It can’t be overstated that almost all teams are still in Preseason mode to some degree. 
   Add in the D we are facing and all you want is a W and no major injuries!!!!
