Him and Edelman have always been cocky a-holes.

Cannot stand either.

Honestly, as much as I hated Edelman as a player, I’ve grown to like him on pods (he’s great on Pardon my Take) and TV. He actually has a sense of humor about himself and offers up real football breakdowns.

gronk offers nothing. The dumb meathead act is really who is (and I know more about that but I’ll leave it alone 😙).

Tre’s teammates were super weak in standing up for him too. I think Hyde gave him a little shove. Reminded me of the Sabres soft response after the Bruins guy ran over Miller.

and I used to like Gronk. Buffalo type of guy who I have a ton of friends who are like (myself included). But that was such a scumbag move. And get off tv. He’s really not that interesting or adds any real perspective to anything. Dude kinda sucks.

Something should have been done.

Honestly, you can get into what would look like a serious scrum to show your displeasure and avoid any serious ramifications.

Chest bumping, shoving and the like.

However, swinging and hitting...man, that potentially comes out of their pocket and possibly other consequences.

I vividly remember that play. I went to college in Massachusetts. I had one roommate who was also a Bills fan and the rest were Patriots fans - we all watched the game together.

I was so fired up about that hit because it was absolute bull####. I love my friends, but in typical Masshole fashion they turned it into me being a sore loser, mocked the hit, etc.

Don't hang with them anymore, JGM.

You walk with us you walk tall.  We got your back and if things go sideways I will be right there behind you and @NoHuddleKelly12 .

Guys like Gronk keep up their behavior because no one calls out this type of stuff anymore. He just gets to be a “funny” meathead, and no one will say a word.

I mean, welcome to the NFL, Gronk.  Whining like a baby that guys are pulling his jersey.

They were up 3 scores and the game was winding down, and he had to go all roid rage because he felt a small pull on his jersey.

They would have been dead to me.  Dead, I tell you.  Dead.

LIke it was a dirty hit, you'd be livid if it had been done to Brady, just admit it.

I have a close friend who's a Patriots fan, I watched games with him when we lived in the same city, and he straight up acknowledged as much.

Not sure if this was posted in any other threads, but in case you needed more reason to dislike Gronk and Edelman

I don’t give a **** if he’s from Buffalo. I hate this guy. He’s a mega douche

That may end up an unpopular opinion just because of where he played and how douchey he was as a player....but you're not really wrong. Edelman is pretty good on the pregame shows. I don't mind him as much as I thought I would. He's usually pretty good and seems to respect Allen and the Bills a fair amount.

Gronk should never have been allowed to play with a brace that amounted to an armored club on his arm, and if they did, it should have been with the understanding that the first time he used it as an armored club would be the last time he was allowed on the field with it.

I agree, I was more disappointed in White’s teammates than I was over Gronk being a dirty player, those things happen from time to time in sports but nobody had Tre’s back and that was disgusting.

Gronk continuing to show how badly his brain works/worked complains that it would have been okay if his teammate hadn't already downed Tre, conveniently ignoring the fact that he was out of bounds anyway.

He’s trolling Bills fans.

I’ve always loved Gronk and I still do.

It was a dirty hit. I, for one, am not going to judge a decade-long career on one bad hit.

Just a glorified goofball that has been given the license to say any imbecilic, insensitive comments and it’s written off as “it’s classic Gronk”. This Brady created assclown is a great explayer who now wants to be an NFL contributor on the studio shows but any objective observer can see he’s got a screw loose. With the mentality of doing anything for a laugh he detracts from the credibility of any show that puts him in front of a mike. He’s a Buffalo native growing up and he puts that crap about Tre out there. Great player, big schmuck.

He’s lucky that hit was back in 2017 or whatever year it was and not today post Tua era concussion NFL.

The league is super sensitive when it comes to concussions now. He probably would have been suspended for the rest of the season if he pulled that same stunt in today’s NFL.

FWIW, on the Buffalo Plus pod yesterday with Dan Fetes and his NE sports journalist guest (link here), they discuss that after this hit happened, Belichick apparently came up to McD during the postgame handshake and said what his guy [Gronk] had done was BS...(not that Belichick probably did anything about it internally though? At least I don't recall ever hearing anything to that effect).

Do we have to listen to these 2 knucklheads ramble on, at least tell readers to advance to past 15 minutes to hear the relavent  anecdote.
